Here is a low mileage, mint 2009 ZR1 Blue Devil in Jetstream Blue...the absolute most stunning and signature color for the C6 ZR1 Blue Devil, one of only 133 Jetstream Blue ZR1s built in 2009. If you're going to own a Blue Devil ZR1, this is the color you want. Originally sold new from Kerbeck Chevrolet in Atlantic City New Jersey, the car is loaded with the 3ZR trim including two tone leather interior, heated seats, telescopic steering, driver memory settings, Bose premium sound system, ZR1 chrome aluminum wheels and all the extras that are included with the top of line 3ZR package. The original MSRP was 119,985 and most dealers in 2009 were selling ZR1s for an additional 5000 to 10,000 over sticker price. The car is completely stock except for: custom templated ZR1 clear bra which covers ALL exposed body areas, carbon fiber alcantera wrapped custom GM steering wheel that totally compliments the cabin, matching Lloyds super plush ZR1 floor mats + cargo mat, matching ZR1 carbon fiber door sills, and carbon fiber matching blue shift pattern face, a total of over 4000 in extras. I purchased this car from the 2nd owner just 7 months ago...... The car still smells new. With only 13,250 mi. on it now, I have only put on 800 miles since I purchased it. This car has always been garage kept and meticulously cared for and maintained. Besides the inadvertent scraps on the bottom of the front Carbon Splitter from raised driveway entrances, this car is nearly flawless. After I purchased the car I detailed the car to my liking which took me around 20 hours. You will not find a nicer 2009 ZR1...it's in showroom condition. The new C7 Z06 is about to hit the showrooms. You can wait in line for over a year to purchase one or you can save over 50,000 and purchase a ZR1 Blue Devil.....RIGHT NOW!!

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
