Selling my naturally aspirated Z06 with 595rwhp and 512rwt. The car is in great condition and mechanically very
strong, everything works excellent and have never had any issues. There are less of this NA build of Z06 for sale
right now than fingers on one of your hands! I don't even know where to start with everything that has been
professionally done by the best tuner/builder in the state of Florida, Geoff Skorupa of Next Level Performance. I
have included pictures of the details of what has been done within the last year. As you can see, the heads and cam
were professionally done by one of the best in the business, Advanced Induction out of Charlotte, NC. The Mantic
9000 twin disk clutch is the best on the market and has about 1000 miles on it. It has all of the bolt-ons;
Halltech air intake, LG headers, LG exhaust, and catless x-pipe. I have also added a real carbon fiber front
splitter. I do not know the exact tread depth of the tires but I know that they have roughly 5000 miles on them and
are Michelin Pilot Super Sports, front look new and rear have at least half life left. The brakes are perfect as
well. This car is not for the faint of heart and demands respect. Although this car is built to race, it has never
been tracked or down a drag strip. This is my "when I have time to drive it every other weekend when it's not
raining Z06". It was owned by a 71 year old man in South Carolina then by a really good friend of mine in Ft. Myers
Beach, FL for about 3 months before selling to me.

China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
