2007 - Chevrolet Corvette on 2040-cars
Meeker, Oklahoma, United States
Very Clean like new vette. I am the second owner of this vehicle since new. I bought the car with 9,200miles on it 2 years ago from Corvette world of Dallas and just never have time to drive it. As soon as I bought the vehicle I took it to the Chevrolet dealership and had them install a 6.60 cam along with kook headers, exhaust and cold air intake because I loved the sound of a vette sitting there idling and it got me props with the wife! After that was installed they sent the car off to Abel Racing to be put on a dyno so the car would run correctly with the new mods. The cars dyno results were 542 RWHP and idles at 950rpm. At Corvette world of Dallas I Also had them put the new black wheels on it. Before it left the dealership. The beginning of this summer the car received tinted windows from color match. Vehicle is always kept in a A/C garage, never drove in the rain or any weather besides a sunny day and never has been dirty while in my hands. There are no scratches, tears, discoloring or anything in the interior, it is in excellent condition. I Have two key FOB's for the car. The car is always open for view and for very serious buyers there can be a test drive if they will be willing to put money down and their insurance to cover any damage to the car while test driving. For anymore information on the vehicle please email me ..

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
GM won't pay owners of recalled cars for lost value
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Kenneth Feinberg, the man in charge of the General Motors compensation fund dealing with the its widespread ignition switch woes, has issued an informal, two-letter response to the plaintiffs in more than 70 lawsuits seeking redress for lost resale value of their Cobalts: "No." The cases were recently combined into one, but Feinberg told The Detroit News that the fund will deal "only with death and physical injury claims," and that "perceived diminished value" will get no consideration.
ALG, the firm specializing in establishing residual values, determined that Cobalt owners had lost $300 compared to the segment competition and doesn't envision any long-term effects from the recall situation. Feinberg's statement comes in advance of public details on how the compensation fund will work and adheres to GM's long-held position on the matter. The company has already asked a judge to throw out such suits using the pre-bankruptcy defense, even as it stopped using that defense in cases of injury and death.
With plenty of potential gain from the GM suit, however, don't expect the plaintiffs to give up yet. When Toyota was sued for the same reason during the unintended acceleration debacle, it eventually settled the case for between $1 billion and $1.4 billion just to get it over with. Since the 85 law firms involved in the Toyota litigation took home more than $250 million of that total, we shouldn't expect the attorneys to give up on a GM payout, either.
