Selling this SUPERCHARGED Z06 to make way for a new car! Here are some more details about the Z06: It has a Stage II Procharger super charger. It has LG Pro Long Tube Headers and flow through CAT's on it. The pipes come in several diameters...this is next to the largest (more HP but slightly less noise). The Dyno before the Long tube headers was 450 HP at the rear wheels, with the long tube, Tom Wong of Wong engineering did the dyno and felt it would easily hit 500 HP at the rear wheels with the Long sweep headers. The wheels are Front: 18X8.5 and the Rear are 19X10 This is similar to the 2011 Z06 ...meaning a higher skip Pad number (should be over 1)...tires are brand new as are the wheels. The original wheels and tires (Toyo) are for sale for an additional $100...they are 1" smaller in diameter. Great for winter tires. Inside we have Leather, Power seats with memory, remote FOB, alarm, dual auto climate control....a very nice interior. The front license area has cover, also have color matching "Corvette" cover if you do not want the license on the front at all. This is a hot car, but has never been track or street raced. New Alpine/Blaupunkt stereo system, and new speakers, with all amps & plugs (USB, iPod connector etc)...great sound system. Let me know if you want to see the high-res pics, I cannot post a link here. A/C cold, All scheduled maintenance, Always garaged (until now, while for sale) , Looks & drives great, New tires, No accidents, Non-smoker, Title in hand, Upgraded sound system
58,560 Miles.

Silverado HD, Touareg V10 TDI face off in diesel tug-of-war
Sun, 30 Dec 2012A couple weeks ago, we watched a Chevrolet Silverado get dominated by a Dodge Ram Heavy Duty in a fullsize pickup tug-of-war, but in that truck's defense, Chevy's Vortec gas engine was no match for the torquey Cummins turbo diesel. For our next round of vehicular tug-of-war, a Duramax-powered Silverado HD takes on Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI.
Now, on paper, putting the Duramax V8's 365 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque up against the V10's 310 hp and 553 lb-ft looks like an easy win for the Bowtie, but unfortunately, this battle has a similar result as the Dodge versus Chevy video, with the Silverado smoking its tires trying to move forward as it gets pulled backwards. Put another way: YouTube 2, Chevy Silverado 0.
It just goes to show, though, that big tires, bolt-on fender flares and goofy smoke stacks don't improve your towing abilities. Besides, what did the Silverado driver expect when the Touareg V10 TDI has towed a Boeing 747 in the past?
These are 2014's best-selling cars and trucks
Tue, Jan 6 2015Now that 2014 is no more than a set of numbers on spreadsheets, at last, the grist mill gets its first real load to chew on. The number one selling vehicle in America last year was the Ford F-Series, a fact that should surprise you only if your family name is Van Winkle and your naps tend to last 38 years, which is how long the Ford pickup has ruled our buying landscape. Even though series sales were down 1.3 percent, it still racked up 753,851 units. That's 2,065.3 sales per day, every day, all year. The Chevrolet Silverado, up 10.3 percent for the year, was still a daylight second at 529,755 units. The cab-and-bed love continued into third place with the Ram 1500-3500 trucks, gaining 23.6-percent year-on-year to clock 439,789 units. The robust turnout at The Bighorn and Jeep helped Fiat-Chrysler increase its sales by 16 percent, past the two-million mark. Our number one car? The Toyota Camry, staying in first place with a 4.9-percent sales boost to 428,606 sales, trailed again by the Honda Accord at number five with 388,374 sales. Accord sales rose six percent, and if it's any consolation to Honda for coming in second - not that it needs one - it is the only manufacturer to have three vehicles in the top ten. The rest of the list: the Nissan Altima with 335,644 sales (+4.7%), the Honda CR-V with 355,019 (+10.2%), the Toyota Corolla/Matrix combo with 339,498 (+5.9%), the Honda Civic with 325,981 (-3.1%), and the Ford Fusion with 306,860 sales (+2.9%). Total sales for the year were up six percent to 16.5 million vehicles, a volume not seen since 2006, aided by a strong December that was up by 11 percent year-on-year. Ford was the top selling brand overall but sales didn't really budge from 2013, while Subaru rocketed up 21 percent to finish with 513,693 sales. At the precious end, BMW, Audi, Porsche and Land Rover all had record years, and Kelley Blue Book thinks we could be looking at 17 million sales for the next two or three years. Looks like it's time to start making hay again...
