This is an extremly clean C5 corvette. It has always been garage kept and it shows! The vehicle has been stored in winters and comes with the cover and rollers for it to sit on while in storage. There are 4 NEWER Michelin run flat tires on the car along with a BRAND NEW set of ZO6 Black wheels with red outline. There are 2 tone Satin Rlack / Red Hash stripes on fenders ( these remove with ease if they are not to you taste) and the Brake calipers have been done in red to accent the Wheel & Hash stripes. It has a BORLA S-type exhaust which has a very clean look and agressive sound. The windows have been tinted to give it a stealth look and the tail lamps and markers have been professionaly blacked out to complete the awsome look of the vehicle. The Engine / 6-speed Transmission has been left stock and untouched to keep the reliabilty of this car intact. Oil changes have been done with full synthetic MOBIL1 every 3,000 miles. GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
