Classic 1992 Corvette Coupe -- Rare Admiral Blue paint, LT1 5.7L 350, 300 hp Tuned Port Enjection engine, automatic transmission with 17,500 miles, that is completely bone stock and all original. It has every option put out that year to include: Dual power sport seats, CD / Cassette stereo system ( have orig. Bose ), climate control a/c, electronic selective ride and handling switch - 3 settings, traction control switch, Bilstein shocks, remote keyless entry with 2 sets of keys and remotes, owners manual, power/heated mirrors, heated rear window, tinted windows and glass targa top with dot matrix tint and extra painted hardtop . Never driven in bad weather and always garage kept. There's one word that describes this car.......Immaculate. NO ACCIDENTS, NON SMOKER, NO ISSUES, REQUIRES NOTHING MORE THAN A NEW GARAGE.
The Admiral Blue Metallic Paint is glowing. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in exceptional condition. The wheels have no abuse, the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 wide oval tires only have 5000 miles on them, and it drives straight down the road. Always hand detailed inside and out down to Q-tips and toothpicks. Could pass for a much newer car.. The exterior is a strong 9.5 / 10.
On the inside, the Grey interior still looks, feels, and maintains that newer appeal. The power leather sport seats are in good shape...no rips or tears, and has been treated with the finest leather restoration product on the market and feels like butter, and the carpet is in great shape. The door panels, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are clean. All of the interior buttons / switches ( power windows, door locks, cruise, antenna, and power seats works without issue ). The undercarriage is dry, and never really exposed to the elements. Inside, it is a 9.5 / 10.
Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as a "well-oiled" machine should. All of the servicing is up to date - fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals. This car gets 23 mpg. The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the LT1 - 350 engine has great pick-up, and the automatic transmission shifts like a new car, brakes have plenty of pad left, and all of the other mechanical items are on point. Clear title and Carfax.

New: tires, serpentine belt, rear hatch struts, front top weather stripping seal, wiper blades.

Why drive a bottom of the line Hyundai when you can drive an all American sports car for less money and it will be worth more in the long run. And, full coverage insurance for this car is only around $500 a year.

This is how GM is hiding new Chevy Volt in public

General Motors is letting the public know that, well, it's not about to let the public know anything else about the next-generation Chevrolet Volt. But the automaker is willing to talk about its camouflaging process for upcoming versions of the extended-range plug-in. So it's a half-hearted secret, at best. GM actually has a "camouflage engineer" charged with creating ways to disguise the styling of new vehicles. In the Volt's case, the company is applying black and white swirly color patterns on top of the materials, such as plastics, vinyl and foam, that are used liberally across the body. It's all part of a teaser campaign that started last month with pictures of part the 2016 Volt. Earlier this month, GM said it was keeping track of Volt drivers' habits as it works on the next-gen model. The company noted that more than four out of five trips are being made in all-electric driving mode, and that 60 percent of Volt owners use a plain-old 100-volt outlet to recharge their cars. The car is slated to make its global debut at Detroit's North American International Auto Show next January, and the early word is that performance and all-electric range will be improved (we should hope so). The car will also be sleeker. By how much, we can't tell yet, because of those darn swirly patterns. GM's got more non-details in its press release below. Engineers charged with hiding styling while vehicle testing proceeds in public DETROIT – The styling of the next-generation Chevrolet Volt is one of the automotive world's best-kept secrets. Keeping customers and media eager to see the successor to the groundbreaking original at bay until the new Volt debuts at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January is tricky business. First, it is engineers, not designers, who are charged with creating camouflage that balances styling secrecy with the need to validate the Volt and its systems in public. "If it were up to me it would be a shoebox driving down the road," said Lionel Perkins, GM camouflage engineer. "The design team wants us to cover more of the vehicle and the engineering team needs to have enough of the vehicle's weight and aero exposed so that the tests in the development process are consistent with the product that will come to market." The engineers responsible for the "cool" designs covering the car might deserve style points but their efforts are intended strictly to hide the metal beneath.

GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series

During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
