First time offered on the open market, a beautiful1963 swc. The car went through a complete frame off resto 3 years ago. There is nothing on the car that has not been touched by either refurbishing or replacing with new parts. The complete drive drain is all matching numbers to the car, the complete drive train has been rebuilt with the exception of the rear end which was checked out and deemed to be in good working condition. As I mentioned before, there is absolutely nothing on this car that has not been touched. All the glass was replaced with correct date coded glass, instruments were all rebuilt and calibrated by a firm on the east coast.

I could make a long list of things that were done to the car. If you can think of something, it has been done. I am the 3rd owner of the car and have had it 7 years. The second owner only had it a couple of years before I bought it from the original owner. The original owner was a client of the second owner for many years and.

Unfortunately not a lot of maintenance/documentation records were kept by the previous owners. I have kept every thing that I have done with the car including a large photo record of all the work done to the car.. This car is in perfect condition and has been stored at my home in a climate controlled environment. Car has only has 75 miles on it since the resto. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Watch the National Corvette Museum sinkhole being filled in by R/C cars

Okay, so not exactly cars, but Bobcats - but still quite cool. You might remember that the National Corvette Museum had that little divot that needed to be filled in. Turns out the construction firm of Scott, Murphy & Daniel doing the work is using two remote-controlled Bobcats to fill the sinkhole with "manufactured sand," which in this case is crushed limestone. It appears that the Bobcat company has offered remote operation since at least 2007 via a wireless transmitter that works up to 1,500 feet away. So yes, that means two SMD employees stand on the edge of the pit and flick joystick levers for hours at a time, one in charge of a Bobcat with a roller-compactor attachment, the other in charge of a Bobcat with a bucket. 2016 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon recalled for opening console lids

The Basics: General Motors is recalling 9,200 examples of the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado with build dates between August 25, 2015 and September 24, 2015, and the 2016 GMC Canyon manufactured from August 28, 2015 to September 24, 2015. In total, 8,763 of these pickups are in the US, and the rest are in Canada or Mexico. The Problem: The console compartment lid could open in a crash, and the items inside the storage compartment might hit occupants during the accident. This fault puts the pickups out of compliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The fix: Dealers will replace the console compartment door latch assembly with an improved part. If you own one: GM has not yet told NHTSA when the repairs for these pickups begin.
