This is the perfect project Monza. Classic car, matching numbers, and would require little work to get her road ready.

This is my grandfather's car, we were going to restore it, but we have too many other projects going right now and don't think a classic like this deserves to just sit. The rear passenger window and rear windshield need to be replaced, a tree branch fell and busted it. All the windows were colored with the window chalk from the inside to help preserve the interior, and it seemed to work. (will upload pictures of interior later) The body is straight, paint only shows oxidation, no other rust on vehicle. Will need new tires, motor is outside the vehicle and will need new seals.

This car has SO much potential!

Did I mention it is a 1961 MATCHING NUMBERS Corvair MONZA?

Mileage is not exact, as car is still stored at my grandfather's home. Vehicle is registered non-op.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

GM to trim Russian output, raise prices amid currency woes

General Motors is shutting down its factory in Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg, from the middle of March until the middle of May as the country's currency, the ruble, continues to give economists fits. The ruble's value has plunged due not only to western sanctions, but a precipitous fall in oil prices. We knew these factors were already impacting the auto industry there, as Ford reported in its 2014 earnings statement, and now they're forcing GM to cut production at the factory, shown above, that is responsible for production of the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel Astra. Meanwhile, Automotive News is citing Russian outlet Kommersant as saying that GM has hiked its prices in the country by an average of 20 percent over the past two months. While a GM spokesman confirmed the St. Petersburg plant would be shut down for the two-month span reported by Kommersant and AN, he would not confirm the price increase.
