Rust free newly painted inside and outside 95 % from complete restoration....just needs door seals ..channels on doors....rear window seals(I do have the window)..taillight lenses...and other little things.bench seat needs to be reupholstered.....runs and drives....top end engine rebuild 4 mos ago...has about 50 miles after rebuild....has leak on the push rod tube seal(easy fix)...this is a rare find for the price...the body work and paint is worth what Im asking for....rusted panels were replaced from donors....not bondo....sealed with epoxy and sealer before final finish......this truck is a head turner...can email seller for more questions and info about the truck....seller will pay up to $500 of shipping cost if buyer pays full asking price.....thanks for looking....

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

Tue, Nov 15 2016The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
