I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. This car is in Very Good Condition for its age. Always been stored indoors. Body lines are Straight. 99k Original Miles Interior: Rare Factory Red Interior Seats in car are in near Mint Condition(SEE PHOTOS) Along with Door Panels etc. All in great shape Everything on the interior of this car is in very good condition. Needs nothing other than new owner cruising around town in it. Exterior: Rare Factory Black Exterior The paint on the car is the factory Black color. It was repainted 15 years ago when the car was fully restored. Today I would rate the paint quality at Driver Condtion. There are chips and dullness to hood and trunk along with areas of the paint starting to craze/check. It is real nice 20 footer that is Totally drivable/ usable the way it is but to be perfect could use repaint. Body lines look straight on the car. A small area in front quarter panel appears to have been repaired in the past but still looks good. Floors on the car were all replaced 10 years ago when restored and are in great solid shape. Underneath the car is real solid(seephotos) Overall a good solid Rare Corvair. Front bumper is great condtion along with bumper gaurds. Rear bumper with need re-chromed. Chrome is chipping off in spots on top but bumper is very solid. Original spinner wire wheel hup caps are in great shape. Tires have like new tread but are old style bias ply. Engine: This car starts up easily and runs good. I do not know much about these Turbo cars and how that all works. The engine does smoke some and has small oil leak. Mechanic said there is a bad O ring seal. Not hard to fix and seals are cheap. Otherwise Car runs and drives nice the way it is. 4 speed Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and clutch feels great. This past month the following was completed after car was removed from collection storage... -Drained Gas Tank, Cleaned and refilled w/ Fresh Gas -Oil Change -New Battery -New Voltage Regulator -New Cap Rotor and wires -Checked brakes CONVERTIBLE TOP: Top frame is rust free and in good condition. Top is a manual drop top. Fabric on the top will need replaced. They run about $220 for new material with new window. Top has small tear in two spots otherwise very useable. Back window however is brittle and has cracked in some places. SUMMARY… This is a rare desirable Corvair that is super Fun to drive. Gets compliments constantly when out cruising around. This car is ready for new owner to give it some TLC tinkering on the minor items while enjoying driving today. I have tried to be very detailed and describe all I know about car. Email questions. Thanks! Check my feedback... I have sold some cars in the past and everyone is always very satisfied as I do my best to accurately describe the car! Thanks again and GOOD LUCK Please Keep in mind… This car is sold as is with no warranty expressed, written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle (personally or through the pictures provided and questions asked), and to have satisfied Him or Herself as to the condition and value and to bid amounts based upon that judgment solely. The seller has made every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle. THIS IS NOT A NEW VEHICLE and therefore buyer should understand Classic Cars will require a degree of extra Maintenance & Owner knowledge about the car that one does not need when driving a new car. Bid accordingly and to win. Car has CLEAR OHIO Title. |

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.
