Ok where do i begin with this one ?
1971 chevelle ss clone , This car is bad to the bone..Beautiful car that turns heads everywhere it goes!!! We bought this car 2 years ago from a gentle man in ct , it was an original texas car so the under side of this car is in amazing condition, original sheet metal too, frame perfect , nice solid old chevelle..........

We pulled the car apart down to the frame , it was a frame on restoration , the car was soo clean we didn't want to take it down that far......
The body was stripped to bare metal , besides a couple Very minor dings the body was straight and rust free , the rocker on the passenger side had a softball size dent with a bunch of holes from where someone was trying to pull it with a dent puller , so we replaced that panel but otherwise it didnt need any heavy body work what so ever........

WE painted the car with dupont chrome premier paint , black base coat with Silver stripes , the paint on this car is very very nice, the stripes were painted in then cleared over...
We bought new bumpers , new grill , new stainless etc, cant put that old stuff back on the new paint...

New interior in the car , all new headliner , seat covers , dash pad , door panels , carpet etc , its like a new car inside , even bought all new seatbelts.....The bench seat was left in the car because it was being built for a cruiser , wanted the old lady to be able to slide up next to me..Plus everyone does the bucket seat floor shift thing anyhow.....
Kenwood cd player w/ remote...

Suspension was gone through , all new lines ran , disc brakes rebuilt , rear drums all rebuilt  , new bushings , power steering all rebuilt etc......

18" Boze Forged wheels were added to the car , thee are not some cheapy wheels , they are top of the line forged wheels $$$, they look amazing.....

The 454ci Motor was pulled and rebuilt, fresh bottom end (stock ) , 871 Heads were added , Edelbrock intake , new hedmann headers , thumper cam , Holley 750 dp carb , spectre dual snorkel intake air cleaner , Chrome water pump , chrome alternator , moroso motor mounts ,chrome pulleys & brackets , Msd wires and distributor ,  Aluminum triple core radiator , all new FEL pro gaskets , plus a ton more stuff i cant think of right now....
Motor runs excellent and only has maybe 200 miles on it, that big block rumble , nothing like it..Looks awesome under the hood too....

Trans is a turbo th350 That was rebuilt ...

Rear is a 10 bolt w/ 373 gears and eaton posi lock ...

There is a ton more done to this car , it is a factory ac car and everything is there to hook it back up except the pump and lines..I have a Vintage air setup new in the box i will sell with the car for extra cash ......

Car fires right up runs strong , its very nice car that this ad is not doing justice to for sure....Its not a factory SS that i can prove so lets just assume its not...This Car turns heads big time , and is ready to go cruising today!!!

car is being sold as -is , no warranty either expressed or implied....
Any questions please feel free to call

Watch the National Corvette Museum sinkhole being filled in by R/C cars

Sun, Jan 11 2015

Okay, so not exactly cars, but Bobcats - but still quite cool. You might remember that the National Corvette Museum had that little divot that needed to be filled in. Turns out the construction firm of Scott, Murphy & Daniel doing the work is using two remote-controlled Bobcats to fill the sinkhole with "manufactured sand," which in this case is crushed limestone. It appears that the Bobcat company has offered remote operation since at least 2007 via a wireless transmitter that works up to 1,500 feet away. So yes, that means two SMD employees stand on the edge of the pit and flick joystick levers for hours at a time, one in charge of a Bobcat with a roller-compactor attachment, the other in charge of a Bobcat with a bucket. And that, to us, is a pretty good way to earn the daily bread. Check out the video above for the latest sinkhole update. Autoblog's Editors' Picks: Our complete list of the best new vehicles

Mon, May 13 2024

It's not easy to earn an “EditorsÂ’ Picks” at Autoblog as part of the rating and review process that every new vehicle goes through. Our editors have been at it a long time, which means weÂ’ve driven and reviewed virtually every new car you can go buy on the dealer lot. There are disagreements, of course, and all vehicles have their strengths and weaknesses, but this list features what we think are the best new vehicles chosen by Autoblog editors. We started this formal review process back in 2018, so there's quite of few of them now. So what does it mean to be an EditorsÂ’ Pick? In short, it means itÂ’s a car that we can highly recommend purchasing. There may be one, multiple, or even zero vehicles in any given segment that we give the green light to. What really matters is that itÂ’s a vehicle that weÂ’d tell a friend or family member to go buy if theyÂ’re considering it, because itÂ’s a very good car. The best way to use this list is is with the navigation links below. Click on a segment, and you'll quickly arrive at the top rated pickup truck or SUV, for example. Use the back button to return to these links and search in another segment, like sedans. If youÂ’ve been keeping up with our monthly series of the latest vehicles to earn EditorsÂ’ Pick status, youÂ’re likely going to be familiar with this list already. If not, welcome to the complete list that weÂ’ll be keeping updated as vehicles enter (and others perhaps exit) the good graces of our editorial team. We rate a new car — giving it a numerical score out of 10 — every time thereÂ’s a significant refresh or if it happens to be an all-new model. Any given vehicle may be impressive on a first drive, but we wait until itÂ’s in the hands of our editors to put it through the same type of testing as every other vehicle that rolls through our test fleet before giving it the EditorsÂ’ Pick badge. This ensures consistency and allows more voices to be heard on each individual model. And just so you donÂ’t think weÂ’ve skipped trims or variants of a model, we hand out the EditorsÂ’ Pick based on the overarching model to keep things consistent. So, when you read that the 3 Series is an EditorsÂ’ Pick, yes, that includes the 330i to the M3 and all the variants in between. If thereÂ’s a particular version of that car we vehemently disagree with, we make sure to call that out.

Do you guys like trucks?

Wed, Jan 17 2018

Do you guys like trucks? If the answer is yes, boy do we have the show for you! The 2018 North American International Auto Show is lousy with 'em. Yeah, we saw the new Ram 1500, Chevy Silverado and Ford Ranger, but that's just scratching the surface. There are big trucks, little trucks, clean trucks, dirty trucks, old trucks, new trucks, red trucks, blue trucks. It's like a Dr. Seuss book. Anyway, we made a little video for you truck nuts (see what I did there?). Check it out above, and if you're looking for more serious coverage of the Detroit Auto Show, we've got it, along with a ton of images and other videos from the show floor. Enjoy!
