Hello this auction is for a 2 owner 1970 chevelle ss 396 4 speed car. I have no way of proving it is a owner car no paper work ect but the lady i bought it from purchased it off the original owner in 1974 it was her first car. I tried to buy this car in the late 80s and she finally decided to sell it to me this year. I am a Pontiac guy not a Chevy guy so i will try my best to answer all questions. i would be interested in a trade for a project gto. The body on this car is in pretty good shape i would give it a 75 percent. The car is a project car the tags expired in 1984. the car is not numbers matching they blew the 396 up in the late 70s and replaced it with a small block and a turbo 400 tranny. the car has a 10 bolt posi with rear sway bar and boxed control arms. I have the orginal 12 bolt with 411 gears i got with the car i will throw in if car meets reserve. the car is missing the front window trim and passenger side bucket seat and carb off of the small block. car does not have the tach in the dash but does have a ss dash. I do have the original 70 date coded heads and 70 date coded water pump i found in the trunk they go with the car. the car does not have clutch pedal assembly in it. car has front disk brakes and two of the original ss rally wheels. this car is a total project car the frame is solid but everything will need a little patch work the doors quarters floors she had the car painted once in 1977 she told me like i said i have no way of proving it im just passing along what she had told me if any more questions please contact me through email and leave your phone number thanks happy bidding.............CAR IS MISSING THE VIN PLATE OFF OF THE DASH IT WAS NOT CUT OR DRILLED THE RIVETS ARE STILL THERE BUT TAG IS GONE BUT YOU CAN HAVE ANOTHER CAR STILL HAS TRIM TAG ON FIREWALL AND VIN STICKER IN DRIVERS SIDE DOOR AND I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE WITH MATCHING VIN!!!

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.

Autoblog fan favorite car ads from Super Bowl XLIX
Mon, Feb 2 2015Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, and the New England Patriots emerged victorious. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. Nissan: With Dad Fiat: Ready For Action Jeep: Beautiful Lands BMW: Newfangled Idea Mercedes-Benz: Fable NASCAR: America Start Your Engines As for those ads that failed to impact you, loyal readers, Toyota was the absolute, undisputed loser. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad. If you want to take a second look at the losing ads, you can head back to our Super Bowl page for the complete collection. But for now, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the results.
