This is a true 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS convertible with the first three digits of the vin 138. The color has been changed to a triple black muscle machine. The original motor is long gone but has been replaced with a 383 strocker. It boasts approximately 500 hp. The headers are long tube with jet hot coating. It has 2 1/2 inch exhaust with flow master mufflers. The heads are aluminum and allow the engine to breathe . An electric fan keeps it cool and running 180 degrees, The 4 speed transmission and hurst shifter coupled with the power output slams you back in the seat. The rear is a 12 bolt chevy with positraction. To stop the car it has been converted to power disc brakes in front and drum rears. The front rotors are slotted and drilled and the calibers are black. The new power convertible top works great and it has a boot to cover it up when the top is down. Everything on the car has been restored or replaced including all suspension pieces, fuel tank and lines, brake lines, interior, chrome, ect. The car has approximately 1250 miles on it since the restoration. The body is very straight and the gaps are even which show off the great paint job. There are no scratches or chips in the paint.

Is this GM's next electric crossover?
Thu, Nov 16 2017GM made headlines this week when CEO Mary Barra presented the company's electrification and automation plans at the Barclays Global Automotive Conference in New York. "We are committed to a future electric vehicle portfolio that will be profitable," Barra said, which could be taken as a jab at Tesla. In the presentation ( PDF here), though, we see a new vehicle in a slide titled "Leveraging existing BEV platform to expand in near term." The vehicle, seen above, accompanied the captions "New CUV entries" and "two entries by 2020." Is this a sneak preview of an upcoming electric crossover from GM? The image seems too realistic and intentional to be a random placeholder. If this is, indeed, an upcoming battery-electric CUV based on the Bolt, the question remains: Will it be a Chevy or a Buick? It has no visible badging, but it shares DNA from both brands. As Inside EVs points out, though, it does bear a resemblance to the Chevrolet FNR-X concept unveiled in Shanghai earlier this year. With two CUVs on the way, it's not unthinkable that there could be a version for each brand. In addition to this slide, the presentation includes plans for an "All new multi-brand, multi-segment platform" launching in 2021. The all-new modular battery system will cost less than $100 per kWh, providing higher energy density and faster charging. The platform will host at least nine different vehicles, including a compact crossover, seven-seat luxury SUV and a large commercial van. GM has said it will launch 20 new EVs by 2023, and that it targets 1 million EV sales per year by 2026. Many of those sales will be in China. Related Video:
Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works
Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
