I am the second owner of this garage kept black beauty and have owned it since the fall of 2008. I am selling simply because I just do not seem to get the time to drive it anymore. The car is very clean manual 6-speed with normal wear for a weekend cruiser and runs fantastic... Though there are more powerful models out there, this car still feels like a dog that was just let off the leash (it wants to run). The car features a "Heads Up Display" (HUD), has a navigation system with CD player, XM Satellite Radio, Tinted Windows and comes with two (2) tops and a car cover. The tires and rims are in goods shape with about 80% treadlife still on the Goodyear run flats. The aluminum rims have some minor scratches and are a milled factory powder coat finish (They shine up nicely)...... This car is an 8.5 on a scale of 1 - 10. The vehicle has a clear title, all maintenance and past registration records with smog checks (while I have owned it) along with the original manuals and previous owners maintenance records. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
