1990 Chevy Camaro Rs Red, 305ci. V-8, Auto, 78k Miles, Drives Like New!!!!!!!! on 2040-cars
Copperhill, Tennessee, United States
I am listing this very clean RS Camaro for a friend. The Camaro has a 5.0L 305ci throttle body injected V-8 engine that runs great and is backed with an automatic overdrive transmission that shifts good. The body is in very good shape with no major dents and no rust issues. There is a couple of minor dents on the passenger side that I included in the pictures, but nothing major at all { please look at the picts. } The paint is "retail red" and is in very good condition and shines very well, there is some light scuffing on the passenger side front corner of the bumper cover. The interior of the car is in very good condition { seats, door panels, console, dash board, carpet, etc. } and the weather stripping is good and soft too. Everything is in good working order, all the guages, heat and air conditioning, radio, speedometer, tachometer, things to that nature and this Camaro has manual roll up windows. The tires are a matching set of Coopers and are like new. I have driven this RS for a few hundred miles and the only thing that I have found that needs any attention is an exhaust leak on the right hand exhaust manifold. I suspect that the gasket has burned out and will need replacing. It is not loud, but it is annoying. Another thing I did notice is that the very bottom on the passenger side at the rocker panel trim is scuffed up a little { again please look at the picts. } and the black plastic grill in the front is cracked up and needs replacing. This Camaro runs, rides, drives, corners and stops just like it did when it was new. My friend told me he had bought this RS off the original owner that had bought it new and the miles showing on the odometer is the actual miles on the car { 78,533 } and I personally don't doubt it at all. This is a very good, dependable, and fun car to drive and some lucky bidder is going to get a very, very good third generation camaro. Please look at all the pictures and ask questions and i'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cash payment and pickup of vehicle is expected within 7 days of auction close. All items are sold as is, where is. The buyer is responsible for making all shipping arrangements. Please look at my feedback and bid with confidence, good luck and happy bidding, thanks. |

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.
'Baby Driver' is a car chase movie set to music
Mon, Mar 13 2017The Fate of the Furious is certainly the 6,000-pound SUV in the garage of automotive movies, but that doesn't mean gearheads are starved for options. The upcoming film Baby Driver looks to be a winner for car guys, featuring exciting chases with cars including a "hawk-eye" Impreza WRX, a Dodge Challenger, and a 1980s Chevy Caprice. The movie is written and directed by Edgar Wright, whom you may know as the man behind movies such as Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. And based on the two trailers released so far, seen above and below, it's about a young man by the name of Baby, who is a getaway driver for criminals. He's apparently the best in the business, and the secret to his success is the music he listens to while he's driving. He also wants out, but his boss, played by Kevin Spacey, has no intention of letting him go. Spacey is one of a number of major stars in the film, including Jamie Foxx and John Hamm. The driving action shown in the trailers definitely looks entertaining. The WRX is seen doing an array of drifts and J-turns. There is some driving precision on display here that wouldn't be out of place in a Gymkhana video. And it looks like Wright's attention to detail in his shots and transitions, as well as some solid comedy relief, are all going to be present. The film comes out this August. Cadillac Celestiq, Lyriq, Hummer, other future GM electric cars: Here's everything we saw at ‘EV Day’
Wed, Mar 4 2020WARREN, Mich. — Today, General Motors held an “EV Day” event at its Warren, Michigan, campus to present its new “Ultium” battery technology, modular electric vehicle architecture and soon-to-come electric vehicles. Unfortunately, we were forbidden from bringing cameras into the event, so while we canÂ’t show you what we saw, we can tell you more about it. While we saw the previously teased Cadillac EV (which we now know to be called the Lyriq) and the GMC Hummer pickup teased during the Super Bowl, there were a number of other future cars at the event, which GM President Mark Reuss assured us are all real vehicles in the works. The biggest surprise came at the end of the event, though, in the Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan, which Reuss described as a future flagship that would be hand-built “very locally.” It had been hiding under a dark sheet all morning, with the front and rear illuminated Cadillac emblems shining from underneath. When the wraps came off, we saw a long, white, four-seat fastback sedan. The 23-inch wheels were pushed out to the very corners of the car, giving it what appeared to be a very long wheelbase. The model on the stage had no side mirrors or visible door handles. The grille mirrored that of the Lyriq crossover next to it, with integrated lighting in lieu of the usual mesh or slats youÂ’d see in an internal combustion car. The entire roof, all the way until it tapered to the tail of the vehicle, was tinted glass. In back, vertical tail lighting ran down the C-pillar before turning rearward across the top of the trunk. Inside, everything below the beltline of the windows — essentially all but the headrests and top portion of the steering wheel, was hidden from view. Behind the Celestiq, a large digital display showed a rendering of its interior. The dash consists of a pillar-to-pillar curved LED display serving as both instrument panel and infotainment system. Protruding forward between the front seats was another touchscreen that appeared to house some more controls, with open area, probably for storage, below it. The rear seats had the same sort of touchscreen between them. Built into the back of the front seats were a pair of rear-seat entertainment screens, much like we saw in the Lyriq. The door panels blended wood, metal and animated lighting to give character and a sense of opulence. GM interior design manager Tristan Murphy was on hand to tell us a bit more about the Celestiq.
