I have a 1984 Camaro Z28 that I run in American Sedan for the SCCA(Sports Car Club of America) Nationals and Regionals. It was last Raced at the 2010 NARRC runoffs at Limerock Park where I won the class. It is a 305ci built by Big Al's only 5 track days prior. It has the AS spec Edelbrock 700 intake manifold, Holley 650? carb, Headers, roller rockers, oil cooler, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and some other trick bits. The transmission is a T10 rockcrusher 4 speed with Hurst shifter and a detroit locker in a ford 9 rear end and aluminum driveshaft. I currently have 3.73's in it, but also have a set of 4.10s. I have 10 GTA wheels with 12 Hoosier R and A compounds, a full set of Hoosier rains, and a full set of TOYO R1 intermediates. It has a very good rollcage with NASCAR style door bars, aluminum race seat, current race belts, window net, Fuel Safe fuel cell with bulkhead, and MSD ignition. The suspension has corner jackers in front with Koni's all the way around with race springs. The front brakes are 90' corvette brakes with Hawk pads and disc brakes in the rear. The car has a complete fire suppression system. This race car is very reliable and looks and goes great. Handles amazing. The front spoiler is a little saggy and wore out. No rust or even dents anywhere on it. The VIN number is not exact, there is no title, it is a race car only! It has a fully documented Log Book from the SCCA. I also have a 83' Camaro Z28 parts car that is complete and was running when I parked it 2 yrs ago. Pretty solid car, very savable, but great parts car. Hard top, not T-tops. The parts Camaro is included with the sale if you want it. I will help deliver locally if it is close or do my best to help in getting shipping arranged all at my discretion but it is the sole responsibility of the seller to pay for and arrange shipping. As per Ebay rules, I will not end Auction early. Winning Bidder is the New Owner-not tire kicker when you show up. I suggest coming to see the vehicle before bidding ends so there are no issues on purchase. I have done my best to describe vehicle but ask me any questions if you need. Sale is as is.

Will Chevy Bolt get Opel badge in Europe?
Sat, Mar 7 2015General Motors' European plug-in vehicle name may go from A to B. That's because the Chevrolet Bolt could be sold under GM's Opel brand across the Pond, Automotive News Europe says, citing people familiar with the process that it declined to identify. The Ampera, the European version of the Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle, is being phased out due to poor sales. While the Ampera won the European Car of the Year in 2012, its sales have trended well below expectations. That the Bolt would be sold as an Opel hints to us that GM expects to distribute the electric vehicle in far smaller numbers than in the US. The Bolt, which was introduced in January in its concept version at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, will have a single-charge range of about 200 miles. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGeen on Friday afternoon. The car will also have a price tag in the US of about $30,000, factoring in federal-government tax incentives. That's if those tax incentives are still around in 2017, when the Bolt is expected to debut stateside. Chevy working on production Impala Midnight Edition
Sat, Dec 13 2014To put together the Impala Blackout concept for SEMA, Chevrolet didn't need to go much further than its accessories catalog. The in-house connection is what could make it possible for Chevy to get a production version of the Blackout into dealers this model year, with its few bits of chrome trim and dark detailing on the 19-inch aluminum wheels set into an abyss of gloss black paint, black Bowtie, grille surround, rear spoiler and mirror caps. The interior is black leather, with stainless steel for the sill plates and pedals, and an 11-speaker Bose audio system, and it gets the optional 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6. The brand's marketing director for cars and crossovers, Steve Majoros, told Edmunds that it could come in late spring, and that it will be called "Midnight Edition." Majoros didn't give any indication of pricing or if the production car will be spec'd out like the concept. If you simply don't want to wait for late spring, you could work your DIY mojo by putting one together the same way Chevrolet did: give the accessories catalog a workout. Related Video:
24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two
Sun, Jun 19 2016We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
