I am selling this car out of my personal collection. This car is ALL original from the factory and is a 1980 Z-28 Camaro 4-speed, T-Top, A/C, Tilt
Power windows, with the hard to find white exterior with all original black interior and charcoal stripe Z28. Comes with cover. Has 73,200 miles! SUPER CLEAN. Paint is a solid 8/10. I am the third owner of this car. Have had it 3 years. A/C is ice cold, new clutch, and brakes. This car was a special ordered car. Have BUILD SHEET and ALL documentation. Has a factory pos traction 308 gear for better gas mileage. Has sub-frame connectors. Absolutely NO RUST AT ALL. This car has been my pride and joy since I've had it and has been treated as such. Oil changed every 3k miles. All new fluids, running belts. New exhaust installed with original factory tailpipes like she was born with. Had a flat the other day and had to buy another tire, am in the process of finding another Goodyear Eagle II tire.
This car has a Richmond Super T10 4-speed in it. Cost almost $3000, have the original 4 speed with pics to show its VIN. I don't know why the previous owner put the Richmond in it, but it was purchased new as well as frame connectors so the car would not flex with the T-Tops. I even have the original bags to store the T-tops in and the original spare, the canister to inflate the spare, jack and lug wrench. Everything that this car had from the factory is with the car.
The Cowl Induction hood works perfectly, even the factory red light inside the hood still works when the 4 barrel opens the cowl induction flap.
Like I said, this car is out of personal collection. This car has been babied since day 1 of my possession and has never been driven in the rain since I've owned the car. You will not be disappointed. I have everything for this car. If you are serious e-mail me for more pics or questions.
NO Low ball offers please.
May consider trades of other hotrods only.

GM program sees dealers taking on way more loaner cars
Wed, Dec 17 2014Given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. Bring your car into the dealership for service, and you may need a loaner car in exchange. And with so many recalls being carried out, that means a lot of loaners – especially at General Motors dealerships. That could be one of the reasons why GM is massively expanding its loaner fleet program. While many Chevrolet and Buick-GMC dealerships have an on-site rental car location operated by a third party like Enterprise (which may or may not provide a GM vehicle), others manage their own loaner fleets. But while the range of dealerships operating such fleets was once small, reports Automotive News, the number has been growing rapidly: from the locations responsible for only 20 percent of those brands' sales two years ago to about 90 percent today. The impetus for that growth comes down to a massive expansion of GM's Courtesy Transportation Program. The initiative encourages dealers to ramp up their loaner fleet to a maximum size determined by GM, with a mix determined by the dealer itself, so that a showroom in Texas can be bolstered with a fleet of pickup trucks and a dealer in California can employ more Volt and Camaro Convertible loaners. The dealership gets a $500 credit for each vehicle its puts in its fleet, and can use those vehicles as loaners for service customers, as multi-day test drivers or to rent out separately. The vehicles remain in the dealer's fleet for 90 days or 7,500 miles, then they can be sold as used, but with new-car incentives. The dealer gets a fleet of loaners, customers get to use the loaners, try out a new car overnight or buy a barely used car with attractive incentives, and GM gets to clock more sales. But therein lies the kicker: the automaker counts the dispatch of the loaner new vehicle to the dealership as a new-car sale, which could end up distorting its sales figures. Counting loaner vehicles as sold vehicles is something of an industry-standard practice, but given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. One dealership - Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY, for example - had no loaner fleet two years ago, but now runs a fleet of 50 vehicles. Multiply that by the 4,000 or so dealers GM has across America and you're talking about the potential for hundreds of thousands of these sorts of sales.
Question of the Day: What's the most irritating car name?
Wed, Mar 9 2016You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk. It's just not fair! So, what car name drives you the craziest? Related Video: Auto News Design/Style Chevrolet Honda Mazda Daihatsu Automotive History questions car names
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
