1967 PRO STREET BLOWN BIG BLOCK CHEVY CAMARO RS/SS. A change in plans with life and another car, has resulted in a
decision to sell this car. Here is a classic Pro Street first year Camaro. Very reliable, went to many cruises and
car shows with it this summer. Fast fun car, and turns heads everywhere it is driven or parked. Buyer wll not be
disappointed. Car sells itself, so description is not too lengthy.
Blower Motor built by Speed Service in Chicago
1968 SS396 375 HP Big Block Chevy .60 over to a 408 BBC 8.75:1 compression ratio closed chamber big port heads
Engine, cam, crank, and valve train all built for blower setup.
Roller solid lift cam. Do not know specs
Stud girdles and roller rockers Crane.
Gary Dyers 671 10% overdriven supercharger with chrome bowled holley set up and linkage from dyer
Turbo 400 4200 stall with trans brake quarter stick shifter

but believe car will run with slicks high 9's to low 10's in the quarter-mile.

Car has maintained original back seat (no rear seat belts)

I run 116 octane diluted 3 to 1 with 94 octane to have fun, but can run pump gas if you lay off of boost (see
gauge)
Can run pump gas with MSD boost controller retard box.
Original gas tank, cut down to fit between tubs, now is 11.5 gallons.
Factory oil pressure, battery, engine temp, fuel tank- (works and is hooked up) clock, gauges all there but not
hooked up.

First 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 Sells For One Million Dollars
Mon, Apr 14 2014NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick loves buying first-built Chevrolet models for charity. He paid $1 million to buy the first production 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and $650,000 to get the first 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28. Hendrick's latest purchase happened at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach where he got into a bidding war to pay $1 million to get the first 2015 Corvette Z06. The bidding came quick with the car reaching $100,000 within 3 seconds and hitting $500,000 in about 35 seconds. The money from the sale was donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute. As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin.
