Super nice Protouring ProStreet Showcar built to the max with the best of the best performance parts. I have a
detailed 4-5 page appraisal valuing the car over 80,000.00. The car has an amazing paint job extremely nice. The
body is laser straight which I believe is all original metal on the car as well. The car has some custom ghost Z28
stripes which you can see at certain angles and not at others angles very cool looking great with the color of the
car which is amazing. The car has one trophies and was picked as the favorite car of "The Count" from the show
Counting Cars at one of the shows. The interior has some high dollar 2000.00 ReCaro racing seats as well as
expensive NOS system. All brand new Phantom gauges have been professional installed. Expensive tilt column
installed as well. New carpet and door panels as well super nice interior. The car has been professional tubbed
as well with high dollar suspension parts as well. All the restoration was done prior to me getting this car so
what I know is what was told to me by the previous owner. The engine is a professional built 434 complimented with
Procharger and and intercooler cooling system. Highly detailed engine compartment as you can see with some custom
made trim parts. I don't believe the pictures do this car justice it is much cooler in person to see how nice the
paint is and the detail work that has been put into the build of this car. I was told the new Transpeed rims and
tires were around 8-9k. The rears rims are 20 inch with some super wide meaty rear Micket Thompson tires. I also
have some performance reports on the motor but I am not a Gearhearhead so I don't know how to read it but I am
happy to email the appraisal pages or those performance sheets to anyone.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).
