Putting my 1967 RS Convertible up for sale. Originally purchased this car to build into a nice street car, but when
the prior owner pull out of his garage I knew I had to keep it original. This is one of the most original 67
Camaro's with the most documentation I've ever seen.
Lets start with the car from the top.
Original : Convertible top, top boot, glass, complete body, paint, trim, grilles, trunk splatter paint, spare, wire
wheel covers, bumpers, engine, trans, rear end, interior, seats, door panels & carpet.
This is what we did. Keep the entire body original like we got it. Had the engine, trans, suspension, rear end,
exhaust, fuel tank, brakes and lines removed from under the vehicle and completely rebuilt. the under side of the
car was steam cleaned & degreased. The under side of the car looks like new with out touching any of the sheet
metal.
327/210 hp with a 2 speed power glide. Drives straight as an arrow with the a/c blowing ice cold.
There was not any rot on the entire body, just a little surface rust here and there, the paint looks great for a 49
year old car. it has some chips, dings and scrapes but I would not touch it.
The paper work I have will blow away any experienced collector.
Documentation : Protector plate, owners manual, build sheet, bill of sale, sales contract, letters to owner from
dealership, plaque on dash reading custom built especially for Doris Birdseye. Original keys in leather holder,
lots of old registrations.
I have a lot of additional photo's if your interested, and will try to answer any of your questions.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
A hybrid and electric Corvette, plus we drive the Ioniq 5 | Autoblog Podcast #728
Fri, May 6 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. Zac drove the electric 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Greg drove the fire-breathing 2022 Maserati Levante Trofeo. The two dive deep into the relatively heavy news week by starting off with a discussion about the upcoming hybrid Corvette before chatting about what the electric Corvette might be like. They have a chat about the possibility of Porsche and Audi officially joining the Formula 1 field. Then, Greg and Zac get into some quick-hitting news to round out the segment by dissecting the updated Kia Soul (now without a turbo), the 30th Anniversary Edition Land Rover Defender and the new CEO at Aston Martin. Following the news and drive reviews, they rope in Senior Editor, Green John Beltz Snyder to give them a quick download of what went down at the first drive for the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. Finally, they reach into the mailbag and answer some questions from someone who is less than pleased about infotainment systems in some new cars. And lastly, the gang hears back from someone they helped out in a prior Spend My Money segment on the podcast. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
