Big Block V8, 8 foot bed, full crew cab, CD and Cassette, Air, Cruise, Tilt, PW, PL, Towing Hitch, Professionally Sprayed in Bedliner

I have many more pictures of this truck available upon request. They were too large to upload on listing.

Truck runs strong, drives great and shifts smoothly.
The engine runs quietly and smoothly and does not smoke. The air works well when charged but is leaking off somewhere. I have not had it checked to find the freon leak but it lost enough charge in 2 days that the compressor is kicking in and out.

The rear tires are ok but the front could use replacing, but there are no shakes or shimmies at 75 MPH out on the interstate! She drives really nice and rides well!!

Interior Details:
Power windows, locks and cruise all function. The interior of this truck is in very nice condition. There is some wear on the edge of the drivers seat (see inset picture) and all other seats are in great shape!
The dash has a glue on cap over it (formed to fit) but it looks fine. If this were not mentioned you likely wouldn't even notice. This interior is in impressive condition for the age and miles on the truck.

Exterior Details:
The body is straight and has no major dents and dings other than the one shown on the tailgate. I was able to remove some of the tailgate dent after the pics were taken and it looks much better.
It is in good condition underneath as well. Appears to have been a well maintained work truck and it is raring to go and get to work for you!
With the powerful 7.4 V8 engine it can handle the workload you wish to give it.

Be sure to view all the pictures. This truck is in good condition overall.
Come take it for a spin.

(Please note: I removed the aftermarket driving lights that are shown in the pictures since they did not work and looked bad)

Tax, Title, Registration and Document Fee of $75 will be collected at the time of sale.
Payment in full due at the time of sale.

This truck is sold AS IS NO WARRANTY and must be picked up by the buyer in Stuart, Florida.

Thanks in advance for your business!!

Will Chevy Bolt get Opel badge in Europe?

Sat, Mar 7 2015

General Motors' European plug-in vehicle name may go from A to B. That's because the Chevrolet Bolt could be sold under GM's Opel brand across the Pond, Automotive News Europe says, citing people familiar with the process that it declined to identify. The Ampera, the European version of the Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle, is being phased out due to poor sales. While the Ampera won the European Car of the Year in 2012, its sales have trended well below expectations. That the Bolt would be sold as an Opel hints to us that GM expects to distribute the electric vehicle in far smaller numbers than in the US. The Bolt, which was introduced in January in its concept version at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, will have a single-charge range of about 200 miles. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGeen on Friday afternoon. The car will also have a price tag in the US of about $30,000, factoring in federal-government tax incentives. That's if those tax incentives are still around in 2017, when the Bolt is expected to debut stateside. Recharge Wrap-Up: LAPD gets Zero MMX, Chevy's new inverter, Hyundai Tucson's new powertrains

Wed, Jul 16 2014

Some police in Los Angeles will be riding Zero MMX electric motorcycles on duty. The LAPD is adding the fully electric police/military all-terrain bikes to its patrol fleet. According to Officer Steve Carbajal of the department's off-road unit, "It costs less than 50 cents to charge compared to using gallons of gas, maintenance is simple, and the community appreciates how quiet they are." The electric bikes, with their lack of noise and a headlight the rider can turn off, also have the benefit of stealth, giving the officers what Carbajal calls "an added tactical advantage." The MMX also has swappable batteries, is designed for quick ignition and has power reserve capabilities so the rider won't be caught with a dead battery while chasing down a perp. Read more at Ride Apart. Remember when it seemed like we'd never run out of oil, and giving your buddy five bucks for gas was actually a worthwhile gesture? Drivers of classic cars in Detroit were able to fill up their tanks at gas prices corresponding to their model year, thanks to a promotion by Hagerty Insurance for National Collector Car Appreciation Day on July 11. That meant prices from 21 to 90 cents a gallon, as the cars that showed up ranged from the years 1929 to 1989. That's about as affordable as charging your EV. Head over to Autoweek for more details and some photos from the event. The next-generation Chevrolet Volt will likely benefit from a new inverter being developed by General Motors. GM is about two-thirds of the way through the development of the new inverter, which should be ready in January 2016. The inverter, which has a peak output of 55 kilowatts a continuous output of 33 kilowatts, will be adaptable for use in other GM vehicles. Chevrolet is working to reduce the Volt's production costs by $10,000 per vehicle, which should make it more affordable, and the new inverter could help reach that goal should it make its way into the car. Read more at Green Car Reports. Hyundai is likely planning some interesting powertrain changes for the 2016 Tucson, says Green Car Reports. Plug-in hybrid? Maybe. Diesel? Probably not. "We are covering the waterfront on all alternative fuel strategies, from standard hybrid, to plug-in, battery-electric, and fuel cell," says Hyundai's US Chief Dave Zuchowski.

1983 Motorweek showdown pits Porsche 928S vs. Chevy Camaro Z28

Mon, Jan 12 2015

Last month, Motor Trend threw the Camaro Z/28 and Porsche 911 GT3 into the bear pit and let them fight it out. Way back in 1983, MotorWeek had the same idea, comparing the Camaro Z/28 to the Porsche 928S. At the time, the Camaro was America's best selling sports coupe, the 928S was Porsche's top-of-the-line model that also had the highest top speed of any car sold here. And the price differential was even more stark then: $13,600 for the Camaro, $45,000 for the Porsche. That put the Z/28's cast-iron, 5.0-liter V8 with 190 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque against the all-aluminum 4.7-liter V8 with 234 hp and 263 lb-ft in the 928S. Even with that and the Camaro being 14 inches longer than the Porsche, the American was a surprising 40 pounds lighter than the German. The show took them to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia to see how close a relative performance bargain could hang with a the German GT. Both had five-speed manual transmissions, but the high-speed corners and tight sections of Summit Point would test other handling variables, including the "bone-rattling" Camaro's solid rear axle and disc and drum brake setup vis-a-vis the four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension on the "firm-but-smooth" Porsche. Paradoxically, the larger disparity 22 years ago resulted in a closer result. Check out the video to see how the Summit was won.
