This listing is for a 1997 Chevrolet K3500 (1 Ton) Pick Up Truck.

Please read entire auction.
First off, this truck starts everytime, no hesitation.
It is a 1 ton and has all the 1 ton upgrades
This truck is used as a plow truck and it plows better then you could dream.
No power options, all base model.
Has a CD player, cassette player.

I have 3 videos listed on youtube that show alot more of this vehicle.

Here is the issue.
After the blizzard we had, reverse had stopped working. Occasionally it will work, but it mainly does not.
The truck rides 100% while driving forward, I go 70-80 on the highway and feel more then comfortable, in the videos it shows how fast I am going and shows the truck driving.

The truck also has a broken drivers side CV axel, HOWEVER, I will have this part fixed if the truck goes above 1500 dollars.

The truck had an 8 foot plow and didn't sag when lifted.
The truck has fisher minute mount push plates installed (however if the truck does NOT go above 1500 I ill not be including these and they will be cut off, possibly leaving the frame harder to replace with push plates)
Battery is new this year

The reverse not working I am told most likely is a reverse band, which is a fairly inexpensive part.
I have someone willing to take out the transmission and put one in and reinstall the transmission for 800 dollars.
If you want to go that option, the truck and the work must be paid for ahead of time.

The passenger inside door handle is not working, I believe it fell off the track and needs to be fixed.
There is no hazard switch, but I will also fix that if it goes over 1500 (the hazard switch is just the button on the top of the steering column)

I guarentee the 4wd, and truck to run 100%
Truck is a little rusty on the frame but nothing major, it was a new england truck.
The plow wiring will NOT come with the truck under any circumstance.

The truck is a great looking truck.
The bed is rhino lined and it comes with an aluminum toolbox that is a smaller toolbox that you can't see. which is great for backing up as you will have plenty of viewable space.

The interior is tan/grey cloth. 4wd shifter on floor.
It could use a good cleaning
Drivers side is ripped a little (see pictures and videos)

This is a great truck, at a great price, as a work truck you can't go wrong.

This truck is absolutely sold ASIS with no warranty. Your more thn welcome to come an test drive it, look it over and talk to me about it.
I have a clean title in hand and we have owned the truck for about 2 years, first my father owned it and then he sold it to me.

All fluids have been changed and 4WD fluid has also been changed and serviced.
Everything else works as it should. Please atch the videos because the pictures and the ad don't do it justice.
If you have any questions send me a message through ebay wit your phone number and I will call you, if you need an answer quickly.

I require a 200 dollar deposit within 48 hours to be paid by credit or debit card over the phone through our own processor (we have a business license but this is a private sale and a privately owned truck)
Or you can overnight a check or money order

The balance is to be paid in cash on pickup or by credit/debit card or by money order. If you pay with a credit or debit card a 25 dollar fee (only for balance) will apply.

Deposits are non-refundable
Truck must be removed within 7 days unless other arrangements have been made.

The videos are on youtube, because of ebays guidelines I cannot put links into the auction, therefore you will physically need to go to youtube and type in: "Griffco - For Sale"

The videos will pop up, there are three of them, one for the interior, one for the exterior, and a long video explaining everything about the transmission and more which includes showing how awesome the truck handles on the highway.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray priced from $51,995*

Fri, 26 Apr 2013

After months of speculation, Chevrolet has finally revealed the official starting price of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The base MSRP for the 450-horsepower Stingray Coupe will be $51,995, while the Stingray Convertible will go for $56,995 (*both prices include a $995 destination fee). This means that the price increase from 2013 to 2014 is just $1,400 for the coupe and $2,395 for the convertible - pretty modest increases considering the upgrade in specifications. Of course, neither price accounts for the sort of dealer markup that might grace early C7 window stickers, especially since less than a third of all Chevrolet dealers will be allocated Corvette models to sell at the car's launch.
Now, these prices are for the base car, so if you're wondering how much a fully loaded Stingray will run, Chevy has given us a good indication of that as well. The coupe we saw on display at the Detroit Auto Show (shown above), for example, would run $73,360 including options such as the $2,800 Z51 Performance Package, $2,495 competition sport seats and the $1,795 Magnetic Ride Control option - just to name a few. Stepping up to the 3LT trim level that brings a full leather interior will run an extra $8,005 over the base price.
While $20,000 in options may seem like a lot, this "as-tested" price still has the C7 competitively priced against rival coupes like the Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R. Speaking of price comparisons, Chevrolet also points out that the C7 Stingray Z51 costs $2,200 less than the C6 Grand Sport while delivering better acceleration (0-60 mph in less than four seconds) and improved track performance (including more than 1 g in cornering).

Junkyard Gem: 1988 Chevrolet Spectrum Sport Coupe

Wed, Aug 23 2023

Before General Motors created the Geo brand for cars built or designed by its overseas partners, the Chevrolet Division put its badges on U.S.-market versions of the Toyota Corolla Sprinter, the Suzuki Cultus and the Isuzu Gemini. Those cars were known as the Nova, the Sprint and the Spectrum, and all became Geos starting with the 1989 model year. Today's Junkyard Gem is one of the last Chevy Spectrums ever sold, found in a Denver self-service yard a few months ago. Midway through 1988, the Chevrolet Spectrum abruptly became the Geo Spectrum and was assigned to the 1989 model year. This car was built in May 1988, making it one of the very last of the pre-Geo Spectrums. The Chevrolet/Geo Spectrum was available as a four-door sedan and as a three-door hatchback, from the 1985 through 1989 model years. For 1988 only, a Spectrum Sport Coupe package, featuring some trim upgrades and these rad decals, could be had on the hatchback. This car was essentially identical to its Isuzu-badged counterpart, the I-Mark. In 1988, the MSRP for the cheapest possible Chevy Spectrum hatchback (the stripped-down Spectrum Express) was $6,495, while its somewhat better-equipped I-Mark twin started at $7,439 (that's $17,128 and $19,617 in 2023 dollars). Meanwhile, the base Hyundai Excel hatchback listed at $5,295 and the Yugo GV cost a hilarious $4,199 ($13,963 and $10,941 in today's money). Power came from this 1.5-liter SOHC four-cylinder, rated at 70 horsepower. A turbocharged version with 110 horsepower was available as well. You could get an automatic transmission in the Spectrum, but this car has the base five-speed manual. This car didn't get the optional air conditioning, but at least it has the traditional Isuzu HVAC control icons featuring blow-dried hair and high-heeled dominatrix boots. Just over 170,000 miles on the odometer. Someone installed a pretty good (for the 1980s) Blaupunkt Charlotte CR148 cassette deck in the dash. This was a necessity if you wanted to enjoy full appreciation of the music of the era. The Spectrum is special! It's as slick as city rain. "I didn't spend a lot of money but with my Spectrum it looks like I did." Joe Isuzu mocked Toyota salesmen when pitching the I-Mark. As was nearly always the case during the 1980s, the JDM ads for the same car were much more fun. They should have recreated this commercial with Spectrums.

Junkyard Gem: 2003 Chevrolet Tracker

Wed, May 22 2024

When General Motors created the Geo brand to sell vehicles designed and — in some cases — built by Japanese partners, the first four models were introduced for the 1989 model year: the Metro (Suzuki Cultus), Prizm (Toyota Sprinter), Spectrum (Isuzu Gemini) and Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick). Geo got the axe in 1997, with the Metro, Prizm and Tracker becoming Chevrolets. Of those, the Tracker survived the longest, with U.S.-market sales continuing into 2004. Here's an example of a very late Tracker, found in a North Carolina car graveyard recently. The 1989-1997 first-generation Trackers were based on the Suzuki Sidekick, while the 1998-2004 Trackers had the Suzuki Vitaras (not to be confused with the much grander Grand Vitaras) as their siblings. Production of these trucks for the South American market (as the Chevrolet Vitara) continued in Ecuador all the way through 2014. The Tracker name has also gone onto some versions of the Chevrolet Trax around the world. This one is a base four-door hard top/rear-wheel-drive model, which had an MSRP of $17,330. That's about $29,789 in 2024 dollars. You'll find one in every car. You'll see. The engine is a Suzuki 2.0-liter straight-four rated at 127 horsepower and 134 pound-feet. A five-speed manual was base equipment, but very few American vehicle shoppers wanted three pedals by the middle 2000s. This truck has the Aisin four-speed automatic. We like it loud. It appears that someone associated with this truck graduated from Julius L. Chambers High School last year. In the United States, the Tracker was replaced by the Saturn Vue. If Tracker can handle (unspecified Middle Eastern country), it can survive the jungle back home. Siempre contigo.
