I have for sale a 1993 Chevy 3500 diesel dually truck. The man I got it from owned it around 10 years. I drove it 150 miles to get it home and it ran and drove good and straight down the road. I would guess the tires to have 30-50% tread. It does have a hitch to pull a trailer under the back bumper. The brakes work good. The truck has around 155,000 miles on it. It has a Chevy 6.2L diesel engine with an automatic transmission. The truck does smoke a little when you first start it up, but it clears up after a few minutes. It has power windows and locks. It had A/C, but it was disconnected and taken off the truck. He said he put a new injector pump on it two years ago. Both batteries are a little over a year old. The glass is all good. The interior is red and in good shape. The outside body is in pretty good shape for a 1993. It has a little bit of rust. It does have a chunk gone out of the back fender, as you can see in one of the pictures. He used it as a work truck, so it could stand to be cleaned up.
If you have any questions or would like to come see the truck, feel free to email me or call me at (217) 201-2824.
I reserve the right to end this listing early, as I also have the truck for sale locally.
This truck is being sold as is/where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
Once paid in full, I can deliver this truck up to 200 miles for $1.50 per mile, one way.

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
