1946 Chevrolet Truck on 2040-cars
Morgan Hill, California, United States
Great project truck that I don't have time to complete. Has the original 216 engine and 4-spd trans. The truck ran and drove as recently as a year ago. It has 1-ton front and rear axles and suspension from a 1984 Chevrolet 3500 dually. It has front disc brakes and the frame has been c-notched in the rear to sit lower. The 19.5" Alcoa aluminum wheels are wrapped in rubber with lots of tread left. The steering and brakes will need to be hooked up and it needs a battery, other than that it should run and drive. This has been in Los Angeles it's entire life, so you can imagine how clean the body is. This truck will need to be trailered and picked up locally. Auto transporters will not haul it due to the steering not being hooked up. Bring a trailer and take her home. Will deliver in North America for an extra fee. This is by no means a show truck, but it truly is a great foundation for a hot rod. Was going to use it to haul one Harley on the bed, but I have too many projects going right now and it's time to thin them out. The Road King on the bed of the truck is not for sale, but one can be built for you for the right price.

Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power
Tue, Sep 5 2017The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January. So, how do you actually pronounce that automaker's name?
Thu, Jan 21 2016You probably have that friend who always says Porsche wrong, or maybe it's someone who keeps reminding you it's actually two syllables. Whichever side of the pronunciation debate you fall on, you'll find someone to root for in the video above. And before you ask, this was all the video team's idea. So don't get mad at me for being the voice of reason. BMW Chevrolet Hyundai Nissan Rolls-Royce Videos Original Video nissan qashqai
