RELISTED DUE TO BUYER NOT PAYING!!!! PLEASE BID TO BUY!! TRUCK IS LOCATED IN ALBANY, OREGON 97322
**** NO RESERVE AUCTION **** please bid to buy!! (PLEASE CONTACT ME TO BID IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK)
From what autocheck shows, this is a 2 owner truck!! never wrecked.
Up for bid is a all original 1981 Chevrolet C30 dually Camper Special dually pickup. Has a 454 with stock carb. turbo 400, 2wd.
The exterior is in ok shape. body is straight, with a few small dings/dents. There is a spot of rust on side of bed (see pic) The paint is factory, so of course it shows its age. Dually fenders are in good shape. See pictures...
The Interior is in ok shape as well. Seats has some tears, dash is nice, still has original radio, carpet is pretty clean. This pickup has a FACTORY TACH that works!! Plastic door panels are fading. Has crank windows that work, manuel door locks. A/C cab but have not tested. AM radio works, wipers work!
The drivetrain is original from what i can see. 454 motor has stock carb, valve covers..etc. probly never messed with. It fires up with ease and runs out good, does not smoke. IT LOVES GAS!! (may have a small fuel leak) The transmission is a turbo 400 that shifts good!! Rear end most likely has 4:11 gears. It was built to tow! Tires are all in pretty good shape. Has chrome caps.
Here are the down falls: the only gauge that works is the tach, lights dont work (switch it hanging below dash, my just need grounded?) the exhaust is all there but in sad shape, when you hit the brakes it pulls to left hard (brake light comes on in dash) has a tiny bit of rust on bed. seat is torn, may have a fuel leak, heater does not blow..... it is a 1981 remember.. it sat for a while.
I drove this truck about 40 miles last week. It drives down the road very nice!! But uses a lot of gas!!
I am selling this truck as-is where is, I can help with meeting up with a shipper (buyer pay ALL shipping cost) Please send a $300 paypal deposit within 24 hours of sale. Truck must be paid for within 7 days of sale ending. ( cashiers check, cash in person, money wire) I will allow up to 2 weeks of storage for free, before charging $10 per day... unless we work something out.( I only have a small area to keep cars)
Thank you for looking :)

GM raises 2023 guidance on strong sales, higher profits
Tue, Apr 25 2023General Motors beat first-quarter profit estimates and raised its full-year earnings and cash-flow guidance after vehicle demand at the start of the year surpassed expectations. Its shares rose in premarket trading. GM made $2.21 a share in adjusted profit in the first quarter, compared to a consensus forecast of $1.72 a share. Revenue rose 11% to $39.99 billion, it said Tuesday, which was more than the $39.24 billion analysts expected. The stronger results stem from rising sales in the US, even in the face of higher interest rates and inflation. GM executives said demand was strong enough to revise 2023 guidance upward, boosting profit estimates for the year by $500 million to between $11 billion and $13 billion. “We did it with strong production and inventory discipline and consistent pricing,” GM Chief Financial Officer Paul Jacobson said on a call with journalists. “All in all, weÂ’re feeling confident about 2023.” The Detroit automaker raised per-share full-year guidance to between $6.35 and $7.35, up from $6 to $7 a share, and said free cash flow would also increase by $500 million to a range of $5.5 billion to $7.5 billion. GMÂ’s shares pared a gain of as much as 4.4% before the start of regular trading Tuesday, rising 3.5% to $35.50 as of 6:55 a.m. in New York. The stock was up 1.9% for the year as of the close on Monday. North American Strength The automakerÂ’s sales were particularly strong in North America, where first-quarter earnings rose before interest and taxes rose to $3.6 billion. Vehicle sales rose 18% to 707,000 in the region. Jacobson said the company originally expected to sell 15 million vehicles in the US this year, slightly less than the 15.5 million annualized rate automakers foresaw in the first quarter. North American demand was enough to offset a weak performance in China, GMÂ’s second-largest market. The automaker continues to struggle in the country, where its vehicle sales fell 25% to 462,000 vehicles in the quarter. Profits from its joint ventures in the market slumped 65% to $83 million. The market has struggled overall in the wake of Covid-19 restrictions and foreign automakers have had to overcome a growing preference for Chinese brands by competing on price, squeezing profit margins. The situation in China probably wonÂ’t significantly improve until the second half of the year, according to Jacobson. GM remains on target to sell 150,000 electric vehicles this year, the CFO said.
Woodward Dream Cruise Photo Gallery | Classics and American muscle
Sun, Aug 21 2022The 2022 running of the Woodward Dream Cruise just went down, and we were there from morning to evening drinking in the sweet sights and pre-emissions exhaust fumes. Yes, it’s a little smelly on Woodward Ave. this time of year. Just like always, the Dream Cruise invites all comers to cruise their machines on Woodward from Ferndale, MI to Pontiac, MI. Everybody is invited, but the original intent of the Dream Cruise was to highlight classic American muscle cars. YouÂ’ll see plenty of those in our mega gallery above, but weÂ’ve sprinkled it with a bunch of other vehicle types, such as modern muscle and other intriguing American vehicles. Similar to years past, though, sometimes the classics arenÂ’t the most entertaining thing to look at on Woodward. ThatÂ’s why weÂ’ll have other mega galleries coming soon, highlighting the weird cars and (great) dogs of the Cruise, all the imports and exotics you can imagine and a special one for all the trucks of Woodward — perhaps even more so than in years past, the truck population on Dream Cruise day was quite high. Click through above to see all the classics you wouldÂ’ve seen had you been roadside on the day of the cruise. And if you missed this yearÂ’s event, make sure you check out what happens next year. You wonÂ’t be alone, as itÂ’s estimated that over 1 million people attend the Dream Cruise to either watch from the side of the road or to sit in the most glorious traffic jam in the world. Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
