1994 chevy c1500 2wd. 4.3l v6 engine.truck has about 225000 on body. engine was replaced and has about 115000 on it. good running truck. needs tune up, windshield wiper motor and has an exhaust leak. do it yourselfers can have all fixed for between 100 and 200 bucks. check engine light is on but that's because the knock sensor is broken off. has been that way for 8 years and in no way affects performance. there is rust on it mainly on the box. a/c hasn't worked since I bought it 11 years ago. winning bidder will need to pick it up in Streator, il. it is a long bed. the rust is on the body. the frame is not rotted. I would still be driving it except I bought another truck. Brake system was rebuilt earlier this year. have $750 into it. will need new rotors. has new calipers, brake cylinders, front and rear brakes, drums and rear end seals.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey
Mon, 25 Feb 2013If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
