This is a lifelong Arkansas, 2 owner, 1954 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton truck. It seems to be mechanically bone stock. Still has the generator on it, the foot starter pedal in the floor, and old bias ply tires. Runs great and functions like a 1954 model truck should. You can cruise around town with no problem in this truck. Cosmetically it is a good looking truck with a decent paint job that is perfect for a driver. Not a show quality job but much better than a shade tree painter could do. Body and underneath is very solid with no major rust issues (see pics) just like you would expect living in Arkansas all of its life. It looks as if it has one spot that has been solidly patched in the floor. Interior is very presentable. Seat cover is in good condition and the floor mat is in great condition, and no glass is cracked. The only two things that really need to be done for it to be ready to go is some attention to the amost 60 year old wiring (tail lights are not hooked up) and the starter spins out sometimes. This NOT a show truck but is way above average for one of these trucks that has not been butchered or restored. This is a very impressive mostly unmolested truck. It is a great cruiser as is or a headache free start on a restoration. It gets more attention than the classics we have that are three times the money. I have done my best to represent this truck and have taken many pictures for you to form your own opinion. Please look them over good and if you have any questions feel free to message, call or text @ 501-337-3792. The only issue that I would like to make you aware of is that when the VIN on the block was stamped there was one too many numbers stamped on the block. The block reads: 0136667T54X where the title is: 013667T54X. Someone at the factory got happy with the number 6 when stamping the block. You will get the title and bill of sale upon purchase of the vehicle. This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time before the reserve has been met. Buyer is responsible for transportion of vehicle. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. Thank you for looking and happy bidding.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
Chevy Bolt 200-mile EV going into production near Detroit
Thu, Feb 12 2015Where there's smoke, there's fire, apparently. The rumors of the Chevy Bolt going into production have been proven correct, with an announcement this morning at the Chicago Auto Show that the 200-mile, all-electric Bolt will be built at the Orion Assembly facility near Detroit. GM didn't say exactly when the Bolt will be built, but GM North America president Alan Batey said in a statement that, "We are moving quickly because of its potential to completely shake up the status quo for electric vehicles." He's not kidding. GM is talking about a $30,000 price tag for an EV that can do twice as many electric miles as any non-Tesla mass-production EV today. Previous hints have the Bolt starting production next year for a market debut in 2017, and with all of the accuracy we've seen from these secret releases up to now, we're going to say this is probably accurate until we hear otherwise. We still have questions about the price tag, but for now we'll try to track down more information here in Chicago. Chevrolet Commits to Bolt EV Production Game-changing, long-range EV to be built at Orion Assembly facility in Michigan CHICAGO – Chevrolet this morning confirmed production of its next-generation pure electric vehicle, based on the Bolt EV concept. It will be built at General Motors' Orion Assembly facility near Detroit. GM North America President Alan Batey made the announcement ahead of the Chicago Auto Show. The Bolt EV concept was introduced last month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. "The message from consumers about the Bolt EV concept was clear and unequivocal: Build it," said Batey. "We are moving quickly because of its potential to completely shake up the status quo for electric vehicles." Leveraging the industry-leading battery technology found in the Chevrolet Volt and Spark EV, the Bolt EV concept was developed as a game-changing, long-range pure electric for all 50 states, designed to offer more than a GM-estimated 200 miles of range at a target price of around $30,000. The progressively styled concept vehicle features selectable driving modes for preferred driving styles, such as daily commuting, and it was designed to support DC fast charging. "We're proud that Chevrolet has decided to produce the Bolt EV here in Michigan at the Orion Assembly facility," Gov. Rick Snyder said. "Michigan unquestionably remains the global automotive leader.
