Vintage Barn Find 1967 Gmc 4x4 C-10 on 2040-cars
Northborough, Massachusetts, United States
Wow!!! Right out of LasVegas. This is a all original Barn find waiting to be brought back to life. The body has the usual bumps and bruises but NO ROT!! The frame has original paint on it in some places. This is a perfect candidate for restoration or fix up and drive as original. Its not often you come across a rust free example of this truck especially in a 4x4. This truck probably has never seen a single day of snow or salt.. Please see the pictures and decide for yourself. Dont let this rust free classic pass you by. This is a body mans dream..
I spent some time trying to start it. It has a new carb and wants to run. I couldnt get it going tho. I Quickly sprayed some Harley Polish on the hood and it looks awesome. See close up hood picture this is what the whole truck can look like in a few hours. I stopped at NAPA to get a few things and a crowd was around the truck after I got out of the store. It is a truly amazing and rare vehicle. This is not a parts truck or scrap. Please keep that in mind when offering. It is complete with title.. This truck is for sale as is where is but may consider a delivery for 3.00 per loaded mile up to 200 miles from 01532. Truck must be paid for before its loaded on the trailer. Ask all questions before you bid not after you own it. No inspections after the auction has ended. I welcome inspections during the auction. This vehicle may be for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to end this listing at any time. I am open to interesting trades as well. No boats or xboxes or stupid stuff. Cool old cars with a motor are fine.. Be prepared to send pictures.. Thank you and good luck. Has NO brakes.. Someone attempted to install power steering so the column will need to be messed with. This appears to be the only alteration of the vehicle. Please call me any questions. David 774.245.0127 |

Sunday Drive: Trucks and SUVs of all shapes and sizes
Sun, Nov 5 2017The American automotive marketplace is dominated by trucks and SUVs, and so was the last week of coverage on Autoblog. By far, the most popular story of the week was our First Drive of the 2018 Lincoln Navigator. It may look like an old-school lumberer, but in reality Lincoln's flagship is a thoroughly modern, turbocharged-V6-powered, three-row, luxury people mover. The Jeep Wrangler is the world's most recognizable vehicle. So it's no surprise that the next version looks a whole heck of a lot like the last one, and the one before. It's all in the details, which is why we were so excited when Jeep decided to unleash a trio of images showing both two- and four-door Wranglers for us to dissect ahead of the SUV's official debut at the L.A. Auto Show later this year. Past that, spy photos of the next Chevy Silverado and Ram 1500 were predictably popular. See both of those below, and the cap it all off, check out the entire week's worth of SEMA coverage – including the bonkers Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 – in our mega image gallery at the bottom of this post. Enjoy! As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Lincoln Navigator First Drive | From black sheep to flagship 2018 Jeep Wrangler revealed: First photos released before L.A. China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.
The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
