3 Truck Package - 69' LWB, 72' SWB Projects, & 70' Parts Truck, lots of work has been done, many new parts
69' Has been taken down to the frame, pressure washed/cleaned/painted, & put back with many new front end/steering/suspension parts, as well as rear control arms & bushings. It's set up with manual steering and all is in good shape and is tight. It has front disc/rear drum brake set-up that will need re-working. It has 5 hole wheels. The cab has had some body work done, but still could use some touching up. It has new floor pan patches with new rockers & new cab mounts. Doors & front cap are in decent shape, no bed. It does not have an engine or transmission in it, but the rear end seems to be in good shape. Missing windshield, but all other glass is there.
72' Has been taken down to the frame, pressure washed/cleaned/sand blasted/painted, & put back with all new front end/steering/suspension parts, rear control arms/bushings new, all coil springs new, set up with power steering, front disc/rear drum brake all new, 5 hole wheels, all is solid & tight. This cab has also had some body work, but like the 69', could use some touching up. Floor pans and rockers are new, doors & hood are decent, hood has small ding on very front, no front fenders, no engine/trans, rear end seems to be in good shape. Missing windshield, but all other glass is there.
70' was purchased as a parts truck with intentions of using the bed on the 69', & front cap on the 72'. The bed floor is no count, but the rear fenders & tailgate are useable, with a couple minor dings. The front cap & hood are in good shape. There's been some parts taken from this truck already, from the inside, and some of the pass side rocker and firewall has been cut out for another project, but there is still some useable stuff here. It still has orig eng/trans, 6cyl w/ 3 spd man. This truck still has all its glass.
I also have engines/transmissions and many other extra parts that i've purchased along the way that were intended for these trucks. Many parts purchased from LMC, and some purchased used. Any parts that i have that you may be interested in can be purchased as well, if you so choose.
I feel i have described these trucks as best as i can, although i may have missed something, so any questions you may have, feel free to message me, i'll do my best to respond as soon as i am able. These trucks are being sold "as is", with absolutely no warranties or gaurantees. Also, they are listed for sale locally, so i redeem the right to remove this listing from this auction if necessary. I do have clean/clear titles to all 3 trucks.
Thanks, and Good Luck!

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.
Body shop manager stole over $500,000 worth of government trucks and parts
Fri, Jan 27 2017The US Department of Justice announced yesterday that the manager of a collision and restoration business in Virginia admitted he helped misappropriate and sell vehicles and parts from the State Department. Specifically, he sold 12 Chevrolet Suburbans, a Hummer, and $7,500 worth of tires and wheels. He pled guilty to charges to commit theft of government property and wire fraud. He will likely see 18 to 20 months in prison, a fine of $4,000 to $40,000, and has already agreed to pay restitution of $416,020 and asset forfeiture of the same amount. According to the Department of Justice, the body shop manager, James Ratcliffe, worked with the owner of the business and a State Department official, both unnamed, to obtain the property. It started with the wheels and tires, which were delivered and sold on two occasions, one in 2011 and another in 2012. The trucks came later, and were sold throughout 2011 and 2013. Ratcliffe and the shop owner kept most of the profits, and shared some of the leftovers with the government official. In addition to the vehicles that were sold, the government official also gave Ratcliffe a pair of Suburbans for his own personal use. The Department of Justice estimated the total value of the SUVs at $96,400. In total, the group misappropriated $512,420 worth of property. Related Video:
