you are bidding on a 1985 chevrolet c10 with 33,104 miles all original non molested short bed short cab 305 automatic silver exterior and black interior, super solid , no rust !!!! solid, solid solid , good driving truck, but would be an awesome project!!!! super perfect blank canvas, or just an awesome driving cool truck , runs and drives awesome, ok so when i said no modifications i meant, l, like cutting cutting of the frame or serious modifications you would not want anyone but yourself to do , but there have been some little things, an edelbrock aluminum intake and edelbrock carb and edelbrock "engine dress up kit" (chrome air cleaner housing and valve covers) truck was "redone" or "freshened up" once , the stripe was added, and the paint was freshened up as well , the interior was redone, stripe is black and the interior was redone in a "not stock material" like black "crushed velvet or velour" seat and door panels and the window cranks and and vent window pulls are billet, so you could say it was "restored, modified, or upgraded" but just the interior and the stripe and the intake and carb, i would call it "stock or non molested" needs pass side window crank and radio has hitch and big mirrors for towing , previous owner had fancy cd player and took it out when sold it , so in conclusion , tilt, cruise , power steering , power brakes , short bed , short cab, super desirable body style , (argumentably the most desirable) chevy truck ,solid a fugging rock , no rust!!! no problems , 36k orignal miles, 2 owner , and ive only had it for around a month, but i have not transfer the title nto my name, so the title has only changed hands twice (two owners in the same family). bought it for a " project truck" but do not have the money now , have to sell, my loss is your gain!!! good luck and happy bidding!!!! no reserve !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i am also selling local also i will reserve the right to stop the acution if it sells locally , thank you very much for looking , once again awsome awsome awsome truck , if you like this body stile , and alot of people do , the one is one of the best of the best , dont let it slip through your fingers!!!!!!!!! feel free to ask any questions you want, tennessee garage stored truck, have orignal buld sheet with all option and "rpo" codes, clean title in hand, GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon
Sat, Jun 20 2015MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.
Want a V8 on the cheap? Buy a work truck
Thu, Aug 3 2017In case you didn't notice, V8 cars have gotten pretty expensive. If you want a modern muscle car like the Dodge Challenger R/T, Ford Mustang GT, or Chevy Camaro SS, you'll need between $34,000 and $38,000 for a stripped out example of one. The cheapest of those is the Challenger, and the priciest is the Camaro. These are also the cheapest V8 cars the companies offer. But if you absolutely have to have a V8 for less, there is an option, work trucks. As it turns out, all of the Big Three offer their most basic work trucks with V8s. And because they're so basic, they're pretty affordable, especially when sticking with the standard two-wheel drive. A Ram 1500 Tradesman with a V8 can be had for as little as $29,840, which is a little more than $4,000 less than a Challenger R/T. For a bit more at $30,275, you can have a Chevy Silverado W/T, almost $8,000 less than a Camaro SS. The most expensive is the V8 Ford F-150 starts at a starting price of $30,670, which is a bit over $5,000 less than the Mustang. Of course you'll be in an ultra bare bones vehicle with few comforts, and the price will go up if you add stuff, but we're bargain hunting here, and sacrifices are sometimes necessary. Besides, what you lose in comfort, you gain in loads of cargo space and towing (try to look at the bright side). Also, as a side note, all three trucks are available with optional electronic locking rear differentials. At the discounted price of these trucks, you still get a heaping helping of power. The most potent of the trio is the Ram 1500 Tradesman with 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque generated by a 5.7-liter V8. Compared with the Challenger R/T, the Ram is up by 20 horsepower and they're tied for torque. The value proposition is even more stark between the two vehicles when looking at the price per horsepower. Each pony in the Ram costs $75.54, while the Challenger charges you $90.91. The Challenger is also more expensive per horsepower than its close competitors. The F-150's 5.0-liter V8 is just barely behind the Ram with 395 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. That's still more power than the Challenger, and it matches the torque of the 2017 Mustang GT. On the down side, it still would be down 20 horsepower on that same 2017 Mustang, and it's behind by 60 horsepower and 20 pound-feet on the new 2018 Mustang GT. The F-150 also just edges out the Mustang in the dollar per horsepower measure.
Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
