This is a 1970 CST 10 Chevy pickup i bought this pickup the way it is, a previous owner owned a body shop and this was his own truck .The original color was blue he did a great job restoring it though it is not perfect it has been in a heated building most of its life it is time to let go so someone else can enjoy it It needs a good dusting off though.I have taken it to more than 20 car shows and always came home with a trophy. The truck has its original 350 V8 small block with 71460 original miles with the original transmission. As far as I know it is all the original truck other than the stick shift is on the floor and was on the column but i have the original column and door to the glove box. There is no rust or body filler but it does have a few small rock chips,.the the paint on rain gutter above the windshield is starting to crack but is a minor fix.The interior is original but the carpet has been replaced, the dash is bleached by the sun and a couple of small cracks in the seat but over all in good shape for 43 years old. There is a rear sliding window, and i had a stereo system put it ,the speakers are in front of the doors but they did not cut into the truck to do it.The passenger side window sticks sometimes when you roll it down but it still works. The truck runs great i took it in 2 years ago and had it tuned up and gone through but the motor hasn't been rebuilt and doesn't need to be.It had new dual exhaust when i bought it,the tires are 31x10 and have average tread, new battery last year, the glass is good no chips or cracks,It has a spot light on the drivers side that still works, all gauges work and has a locking gas cap, with the fuel tank behind the seat. The oak boards in the bed were replaced and still look good.I do have a cover for it also.It is up to the buyer to have it shipped at there cost to there destination, payment of 10% down with in 72 hrs and full payment in a money order or cash at time of pickup.Call Steve at 319 721 0804 with any questions

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild
Tue, 12 Feb 2013This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
