1970 Chevrolet CST 10 Long Bed in excellent shape. One owner original black plate California truck. Vehicle has a new 350 engine with only 3000 miles. I have the receipt for the engine replacement. The transmission was recently service and seals replaced. It shifts smoothly and is leak free. This is a great example of an original truck in great shape. Interior is like new. The exterior is in great shape for a truck that has never been repainted. It does have a few dings and dents but that it is expected for a 43 year old truck. The wood bed is in great condition because it had a camper shell on the truck and was stored in a garage for its entire life. The truck came with factory air. and everything works in the truck. The truck even has the original AM radio. If you are looking for a rust free 1970 truck then this is the vehicle for you. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday.
