You are bidding on a one of a kind 1970 Chevrolet C10 short bed pickup. This resto modified truck is like new in

condition, and has all of the performance parts one could ever want in a classic short bed Chevy pickup. This truck

has been in the family for many years now and it is sad for us to let it go, but we want to move on to other projects.

All of the top brand name after market parts are second to none, and there was no expense sparred on any parts.

Having the best of both old and new was the theme of this truck, and I believe that it was accomplished tastefully

well! The 383 stroker motor has been driven 1000 miles since it was built. It has a Victor Jr. air-gap intake

manifold feeding air into the aluminum Elderbrock aluminum heads. The 750 dual line double pumper Holley

four-barrel carburetor provides the juice to the cam out stroker motor The automatic transmission is a B&M quick

shift type four speed automatic in the floor backed up with a 350 Turbo with 3.73 gears! The transmission is a fresh

rebuild with high performance components with a 2800 stall street/strip converter that can handle a massive 650

horsepower!

The exhaust flow through Hooker Super Competition Headers that feed to Flowmaster exhaust! The sound of the

stroked out small block is second to none! The MSD ignition and high spark coils definitely get the motor up and

firing quickly. The battery is a red top Optima battery that was bought just a few months back. The starter is brand

new, the door sills, the door weather-stripping is new along with the door handles, the arm rests, and door locks. All

of the emblems are brand new or are like new in condition. The front brake rotors are cross-drilled and slotted and

are brand new along with the wind shield wipers. The BF Goodrich tires barely have 1000 miles on them, and the trim

rings are brand new stainless steel, triple dipped in chrome! The Alpine speakers work well with the Sony classic

cassette player for listening to your favorite old school tunes. The truck has all of the original air conditioning ducts but

we have chosen not to have the compressor for it deletes the horsepower potential of the motor. This is probably one of

the fastest yet classic C10 short beds on the market for sale in America. Feel free to email me any questions of concerns about

the truck, and I will respond to them as soon as possible.  Serious buyers only please! I will not sell to anyone who hasn't done

business with eBay before i.e. you have a 0 feedback score! Sorry no false buyers on this one! This is one of one!

2015 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled for steering issues

Thu, Sep 13 2018

DETROIT — General Motors Co is recalling more than 1 million pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles in the United States due to issues with a temporary loss of power steering, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. The recall is for 2015 models. They are: the Chevy Silverado 1500, Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade. The problem may cause difficulty steering the vehicle, especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash, the auto safety regulator said in a document dated Sept. 12. The document did not highlight any reports of accidents and injuries, because of the power steering issue. GM dealers will update the power steering module software, free of charge for owners of the affected vehicles. In 2014, the No.1 U.S. automaker had recalled nearly 800,000 pickup trucks worldwide because of the same problem. GM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Related Video:

My year in EVs: 8 electrics that are changing the car industry

Wed, Dec 1 2021

The year 2021 will go down as an inflection point in the auto industry’s transition to electric vehicles. It's when many much-anticipated models became reality. No longer sketches or sketchy prototypes, electric vehicles appeared from all corners with everything from the Lucid Air to Ford Mustang Mach-E changing how we think about transportation. I managed to drive a lot of them, and as I went through my notes, I realized IÂ’ve got a mini memoir of the seminal EVs of 2021. HereÂ’s my take on eight of them. Hummer EV Easily the most over-the-top EV I tested this year. The 1,000-hp super truck lived up to the hype with its domineering presence, stupendous power and simply being a reincarnated Hummer. I took it for a short spin on- and off-road at the General Motors Proving Grounds in Milford, Mich., and was impressed with the airy cabin, removable sky panels and expansive touchscreens. Yes, I crab walked, which felt like steering a pontoon boat, though I can see why it would be useful. Lucid Air Dream Performance The most beautiful sedan I tested all year, EV or otherwise. Unlike the futuristic Mercedes EQS — which is quite attractive — LucidÂ’s car is a blend of mid-century modern interior aesthetics and classic European exterior styling. When I walked up for my test drive, someone who IÂ’m pretty sure was comedian Jon Lovitz was sitting inside and taking it all in. As it sat in the valet of a hotel in a wealthy suburban enclave north of Detroit, the Lucid drew more attention than any of the Mercedes, Cadillacs or Lexus models passing by. The driving experience was enveloping. Starting at $169,000 for the Performance model (reservations are closed), the Lucid I sampled packed 1,111 hp and 471 miles of range. From the precise steering to the comfortable suspension, the dynamics were spot-on. It's a formidable product, and all the more impressive given itÂ’s LucidÂ’s first. Chevy Bolt EV The Bolt was the most pleasant surprise for me. It handled well, offered low-to-the-ground hot hatch dynamics and the steering was dialed-in. Adding a crossover variant for the new generation was a smart play. On a summer morning where I went to a first drive of the Ford Bronco at an off-road course, my hour-long commute in the Bolt was an enjoyable appetizer.  The Bolt was also my biggest disappointment due to its extensive recalls for fire risk. Ironically, I had the Bolt in my driveway when the initial recall went out for the previous generation (2017-19).

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
