This 1967 Chevrolet C10 Pick Up is the perfect example of a great running farm truck that can take you on long road trips or can be used local for shows and cruises. It's an original California fleet side, short bed truck that has survived through the years. The body is very straight and original for a unrestored 1967 truck, it still has all the original body panels with minimal rust on the lower front fender, some bubbling on the rain gutter and few pin holes on the floors. This is a truck that should be owned by someone who doesn't want $25k into a truck, for the price, you can have a drive and a classic that can be taken to car shows and enjoyed.

Interior has been somewhat restored with new dash pad, new bench seat, new door panels, all window and door cranks, gauges and panel, cd player and more...

Engine has been fully tuned up with all new ignition wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Carburetor was rebuilt with a new fuel pump and lines. Engine runs great and is very reliable with no issues. There is a small exhaust leak on the exhaust pipe but I should have that taken care of by tomorrow. Transmission had been rebuilt with a new clutch kit and seems to shift and operate just as it should.

Brakes are in great condition, they were replaced some time back and are firm and stop without any pulling. Shocks aren't new but are in great shape, rides great. Tires and wheels are brand new. Steering and suspension are tight and need nothing at all.

This is not a perfect truck but it is a great truck to use as a driver, take to shows and tinker on when funds and time allow. In the meantime, get in, start it and go enjoy what owning a classic car or truck has to offer.

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.
