Up for sale is a Custom 1966 c10 pickup truck. This is a frame off restoration it took 5 of the 7 years i have owned this truck. I will start by telling you it is very nice and a show winning thuck several times.Starting with the engine compartment it has a 502 create with 2-4 barrels which makes about 575 hp and about 630 foot pounds of torque and the trans is built just for that tip of hp. It has a v belt drive and vintage air power steering power brakes. The body was done by a well none body man with the name of greg porter 5 months of work was done and it came out looking great with the viper red. the interior was done by 3 r's trim. The wheels on this truck is a 17" smoothy with 7" on front 8" on the back. the rear end is a 373 possy truck arm rear end. There is a lot more to this truck and more pictures if needed. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty

We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
