Truck is a True Survivor from Texas. Runs Great and drives wonderful. I love driving this truck and I just bought a 1946 Chevy Pickup and will be using that. I drive my trucks. Not into the trailer Queen thing.
This truck had new front disk brakes put on. New exhaust engine to tailpipe All fluids are clean If you are the winner of this truck. Fly out and drive it home. This truck is a coast to coast safe truck.
I have the original owners manual and the service book with the original owners name on the steel plate. I also put a HEI Distributor and New Started The old original stater is going to go with the truck to the winner and as well as the original Distributor cap and wire with original coil.
The truck came new with A/C that still works. When I put the new distributor on in January The a/c bracket for the belt tightener will not fit. I was going to make on from scratch. I was not going to cut the original one up. The Truck never had a radio installed so no Antenna on the truck. The bed was removed for painting and everything was looked at by the body shop. He told me this is the straightest trucks he worked on for the year. When the truck was painted NO BONDO was used NO Welded Patch work. Truck was brought down the bare metal and the Etched Primed then primed again the painted with a correct to year Lt Yellow for the 65 c10 truck. I get people all the time looking at it. The truck gets about 20 miles per Gal and DOES NOT BURN OIL. The motor has a few oil wet marks from seeping around the gaskets. Like new tires and rims are painted the same color with the hubcaps the same Ivory White. The trucks interior is nice new floor rubber and new rubber around the doors. Heat works great. No Cigar lighter, never came with one, no rear bumper, Never came with one. What is nice the truck is not a old truck fixed up to look nice but all original.
So look at the images and feel free to ask anything you like I will answer back to you. If you live in the North East area. Come look and drive.
If you like to call please do. 570-278-1903 rings to the shop and to cell ask for George. That would be me.
Good Luck

Chevy's 6.6-liter Duramax is pretty much all new
Thu, Sep 29 2016To say there's a heated battle in heavy-duty pickups is an understatement, with Chevrolet, Ford, and Ram constantly trading blows of increased torque, horsepower, and towing capacity. The latest salvo is the revised, more powerful turbo diesel 6.6-liter Duramax V8 in the 2017 Chevy Silverado. It has 910 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 145, putting it nearly level with the Ford Super Duty. Here's a closer look at where those gains come from. How exactly did Chevrolet add all that torque plus 48 horsepower? The automaker essentially took a fine-tooth comb to the entire engine. Chevy says it changed 90 percent of the V8, and the cumulative effect of those small changes adds up to big increases. As you might guess, the turbocharger is updated. The larger unit features electric actuation of the variable nozzle turbine (VNT), and what Chevy calls a double axle cartridge mechanism that separates the VNT moving parts from the housing. That helps with heat performance as well, with a claim that the exhaust side of the turbo can run continuously up to 1,436 degrees Fahrenheit. Helping that cause are six exhaust gaskets made of Inconel - an nickel alloy that contains chromium and iron – and upgraded stainless steel for the exhaust manifold. Despite having the same cast iron cylinder block, albeit with some minor enhancements, the engine has new cylinder heads, pistons, piston pins, connecting rods, and crankshaft, which have all been upgraded to handle 20 percent higher cylinder pressures. Alongside the increase in pressure, Chevrolet also increased the cylinder head's structure with a honeycomb design. The pattern features high-strength aluminum with dual layer water jackets that not only improve strength, but also optimize water flow for better cooling. For 2017, the cylinder head also benefits from integrated plenum that aids the engine in getting more air under heavy loads. The cylinder head isn't the only component to get a minor update, as the pistons have a larger diameter pin for improved oil flow. The same detailed improvements has been bestowed to the humble connecting rods (second in our hearts only to the inanimate carbon rod). The new design has the bolts oriented roughly 45-degrees to the rod instead of parallel. The angle split design, as it's called allows for easier passage through the cylinder.
Engine block heater issues force GM to recall 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks
Tue, May 7 2019General Motors has issued a recall on 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks that could be susceptible to short circuits, and consequently, potential fire. The recall affects several models of heavy duty Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras with optional engine block heaters. GM is recalling seven different truck models spread across three years. The recall affects the 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, 2017-2019 Silverado 3500HD, 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 2019 Silverado 5500HD, and 2019 Silverado 6500HD, plus the 2017-2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 2017-2019 Sierra 3500HD. Specifically, it includes these models with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engines and the optional engine block heater. The recall technically deals not with the engine block heater itself, but the way it is connected. According to NHTSA campaign No. 19V328000, the engine block heater cord or the terminals that link the cord to the heater could short circuit. A short circuit could potentially damage engine components and result in a fire. According to The Detroit News, 19 fires have been reported but nobody has been injured. GM has yet to figure out a fix, and thus has not yet released a notification schedule for affected customers. If you believe your vehicle is part of the recall, contact GM customer service at 1-586-596-1733 and use reference number N182206310.
