!! NO RESERVE!!  You are looking at a very clean 1964 chevy truck. It was gone through a few years back and had a lot of upgrades done at the time. The 350 engine came out of a 1991 Chevrolet and was fully rebuilt before installed. The engine is mostly stock other than a weind aluminum intake, long tube headers, and a 600cfm edelbrock 4 barrel carb. The truck was converted to power brakes with new hoses, master cylinder and booster. It was also converted to power steering with new power steering gear box and new pump. The steering column was converted to  tilt steering. It has a new fuel tank relocated to under the bed with a electric pump. The turbo 350 was rebuilt and had a b&m shift kit installed. The rear end came out of a 1979 truck and had all new seals and 3:73 gears installed. The truck was also painted at the same time all this other work listed above was done. The truck runs and drives GREAT. It was built to drive. IT drives straight. The steering is tight and it stops good. It does not smoke, knock,or overheat. No unusual rattles or squeaks. All lights and electrical work. Now for the bad. The speedometer does not work. The tires have ok tread but are getting dry rotted due to the truck not getting driven as much as it should. There is some bubbling starting under the paint around the drip rail on top of the cab that I have included in the pics . The rest of the truck is solid. The wood in the bed is in ok shape but not perfect and has some age.  I would not be afraid to drive the truck across the country with a good set of tires.  I reserve the right to end the auction anytime if it sells locally. I can assist in shipping if buyer pays all cost. If you would like to see the truck in person just message me your phone number and we can meet up. The truck is located in West Columbia Tx (about a hour south of Houston).. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK SHOULD MESSAGE ME BEFORE BIDDING SO I KNOW YOUR SERIOUS. THANKS FOR LOOKING. THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AT !! NO RESERVE !!

200.00 instant non refundable deposit required.

I have bought and sold classics on here before. If you read back through some of my vehicle sells in my feedback you will see everybody has been satisfied. Im not your average ebay scam artist and I don't sell JUNK. I am listing this for a friend that doesn't have a ebay account and am familiar with the truck and honest in the description. If you have any questions I cant answer Ill put you in touch with the owner. BID WITH CONFEDENCE YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. Thanks for looking and good luck.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Burt Reynolds' movie re-creations fetch $379,500 in Vegas

Wed, Oct 3 2018

The recent death of Hollywood legend and automotive enthusiast Burt Reynolds helped drive up the value of four of his former cars from the 1970s and '80s, which sold last weekend at Barrett-Jackson's Las Vegas auction for a combined $379,500. Reynolds, who died Sept. 6 at age 82, had offered three Pontiac Trans Ams — two of them re-creations of the cars he drove in "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Hooper" and the third from 1984 used to promote his United States Football League team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth was a 1978 Chevrolet R30 pickup truck, styled like the one featured in "Cannonball Run." The "Bandit" re-creation, a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that Reynolds ordered to be as "movie-correct" as possible but featuring a custom-built 200-4R automatic transmission, sold for $192,500. The car features a freshly built Pontiac 400 cubic-inch V8 mated to a four-speed automatic and featuring all-new Butler Performance parts and air-conditioning components. Reynolds reportedly said this was his favorite car from his films, and it even came with an authentic movie-correct CB radio and CB antenna. The red retro-rocket "Hooper" '78 Firebird, with a 403 cubic-inch V8 and a three-speed automatic, hammered for $88,000. By comparison, a gold 1978 Trans Am also offered at the Las Vegas auction but not connected to Reynolds fetched $27,500. The 1987 Chevy R30 pickup was a re-creation of the Indy Hauler pace truck seen jumping over a moving freight train in "Cannonball Run." It hammered for $49,500. The fourth car never appeared in any of Reynolds' films but is instead the only surviving example of two Trans Ams used to promote the Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct USFL, having been driven out onto the field by Reynolds and his late friend and co-star, Jerry Reed, during opening day one season. It also sold for $49,500. At the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in 2016, Reynolds accompanied a 1977 Trans Am used to promote "Bandit" onto the auction block. That car sold for $550,000. Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.
