You are looking at a daily driver, shop truck, head turning Rat Rod 1963 Chevrolet C10 Long Wide Bed. The engine is a 327 SBC V8, which has been gone over and is a strong runner. New oil, good alternator, new battery, 2 barrel Rochester carburetor, great on gas. The original 4 speed on the floor shifts well through all gears with good clutch. New radiator and hoses keep this pickup cool. A Perfect Bike hauler!!! This half ton truck sits on 15” Radial Wide White Wall Tires with 6 lug Steelies and drum breaks in the front, 6 lug and drum in the rear. A lowered ride with LJ Wrangler lowering springs in the rear with shorty shocks. New drive line and carrier bearing New Windshield. The rest of the glass is chip and crack free. NEW Throaty dual exhaust all the way back that dumps out of the rear, sound great. Clean fuel tank, fuel lines. This "One of a Kind" Pick Up has many new and upgraded parts, sorry hood ornament and Model in pics is not included. Two tone Orange and White body has that as found look, while the roof has been recently painted with Rustoleum White. The interior is very comfortable. Stock dash. A Black bench seat is rip and tear free, fresh black carpet and small back window The body is straight overall. It has patina, some dents and dings. Some Rust around the wheel wells (see pics) That said the truck is SOLID!!! The bed has the original wood that is 90% there Under the very strong plate steal in the bed, functioning tailgate, original white rear Bumper. Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power
Tue, Sep 5 2017The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January. GM recalling 316k vehicles due to headlamp faults
Mon, Dec 1 2014General Motors has announced a recall covering 316,357 vehicles globally, due to the possibility of sporadic or permanent failure of the low-beam headlamps. 273,182 of these vehicles are in the United States, while the remaining affected units are in Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere. This recall includes the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse (pictured above), 2006-07 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT, 2006-07 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL, 2006-07 Buick Rainier, 2006-08 Saab 9-7X, and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. In an email sent to Autoblog, General Motors explains that if the headlamp driver modules are not functioning correctly, "the low-beam headlamps and daytime running lamps could intermittently or permanently fail to illuminate." GM states that this problem does not affect things like high-beams, turn signals, marker lamps, or foglamps. As of this writing, GM states it "has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents." The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has been notified, but the recall has not yet posted to the government agency's website. Scroll down to read the full details in GM's email. General Motors is recalling 273,182 Buick LaCrosse sedans and Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Saab and Isuzu midsize SUVs in the U.S. for possible intermittent or permanent loss of low beam headlamps. Affected models are: 2006-2009 Buick LaCrosse sedans; 2006-2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and 2006 TrailBlazer EXT; 2006-2007 GMC Envoy and 2006 Envoy XL; 2006-2007 Buick Rainier; 2006-2008 Saab 9-7X and 2006-2008 Isuzu Ascender midsize SUVs. This condition does not affect the high-beam headlamps, marker lamps, turn signals, or fog lamps. GM has not been able to confirm whether the HDMs in these vehicles caused any vehicle accidents. The total population, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico and exports from North America is 316,357. The NHTSA was sent the Part 573 information for this recall on November 25. It has not yet posted to the NHTSA website.
