1962 Chevy C/20, long bed, 4-speed barn find. Heavy Duty Arizona Truck! Has V8 engine which I believe is a 283 cubic inch. Truck runs and drives but needs brake work. When I purchased it, the master cylinder was dry. I filled it and tried to bleed, but am not sure how to properly bleed brakes when clutch is part of system. If brakes are pumped, you have brakes and clutch but no brakes when first starting out. Engine is sound and fires right up and runs great. Still has stock manifolds. There is some rust on lower front fenders where these usually rust but bottom of truck is clean. Has extra gauges hooked up and a vacuum gauge. Brand new battery. Have not driven truck much so assume TLC is needed. Have not tested heater. Radio was removed prior to my purchase and turn signals have been replaced with a switch on dash. Windshield has a crack in the glass and door windows go up and down with a vise grip as the chrome window handle is stripped. Great project truck!

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns

Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
