The transmission in this SUV needs to be replaced. But the engine has been replaced and has total mileage of 27,807 on it. Th engine was installed in 12/2010 and has a transferable warranty of 3 years 100,000 miles. The engine was installed when car's odometer read 127,158 miles and now reads 154,965 miles. Since having the SUV the radiator, water pump, altenator, belts, hoses, battery, plugs, rotors(front & rear), brakes, calipers, shocks, motor mounts, fuel pump, starter and more has been changed. All this work has been done within the last year and is documented. This truck runs great and is very reliable. The a/c and heat works great. The tires are in good condition and is rotated at every other oil change. The interior is fabric/cloth and is clean. The 4wd drive systems works great....no problems with snow or rain! Other than the transmission the truck is mechanically sound. The transmission is the only thing that has to be addressed in this vehicle. Again, I am asking $1000.00 obo. No serious offers will be turned down.

Stolen '57 Chevy Returned To Owner After 30 Years

Three decades after it was stolen, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has been returned to a Northern California man - in better shape than when he originally owned it. The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports Ian "Skip" Wilson was shocked to get a call from the California Highway Patrol informing him that his long-lost Chevy was taken off an Australia-bound cargo ship. The 65-year-old says the car has had a lot of work done on it since it disappeared from his Lake County home in 1984. It was returned with a monogrammed interior, 17-inch racing wheels, rack-and-pinion steering and a 350-horsepower V-8 engine. The retired mechanic says the two-door was in sorry shape when he bought it for $375 in 1975 with plans for fixing it up. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery.
