1990 Chevrolet Blazer Scottsdale Sport Utility 2-door 5.7l on 2040-cars
Tupelo, Mississippi, United States
1990 Black Chevrolet Blazer Up for auction is my 1990 Chevy Blazer. I acquired this vehicle from my uncle who had passed away last year. He was the original owner of the vehicle and it was always stored in his garage. It only has 80,499 original miles! Interior: The interior is in excellent condition. Dash has no cracks, instrument cluster is clear, all gauges work as they should - including the climate system. The original vinyl seats have always been covered. I have had a rear bench installed to make a backseat for my kids. There is no damage to the floor. The blazer has a full size, new spare tire in the back. The power rear window works as it should. The top on this vehicle has never been removed. Exterior: The exterior has no dents or dings in the body. There are typical rock chips on the body from its 23 years of life. The paint is in very good condition for its age. There is some slight fading above the driver side rear tire There is no rust on body - only surface under the carriage. It has a tow package. This truck has the original steel tires, including the hubs, and has never been lifted. I also had the front windows professionally tinted. Mechanically: I changed the oil and filter, replaced the air filter, and replaced the battery last September. The blazer runs as it should and has never not started. There are no squeaks or noises coming from the engine.
THIS VEHICLE IS UP FOR AUCTION AGAIN DUE TO NONPAYING BUYER My uncle took very good care of this vehicle. I think the pictures will confirm that. Please contact me with any questions you may have or additional pictures needed. On Jan-16-14 at 19:01:00 PST, seller added the following information: **update** I made a mistake on the trim. This Blazer is the Scottsdale trim, NOT Silverado trim. On Jan-25-14 at 12:43:57 PST, seller added the following information: ****The reserve is $8000**** |

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Chevy teases next-gen Volt at fan event in LA
Thu, Nov 20 2014Barely two months before its planned debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, Chevrolet has released yet another batch of teaser images of its second-generation Volt. Unlike the first image, though, which just showed the car's rear badge, there's a lot more to this quartet of shots. The first three images show off the nose of the next-gen model and come from a fan event in Los Angeles. What we can see is a sleeker front end, with an evolution of the silver grille inserts previously seen on the original Volt and Spark EV. Gone is the current car's split upper grille, in favor of a more conventional arrangement. The sharper, more angular headlights are also an evolution of the lamps seen on the current Volt. Chevrolet also took the opportunity to announce a new location-based charging system that uses GPS to adjust the vehicle's charge settings, including the charge level, while also announcing that the next-gen car will feature more intuitive charge indicators that will be better able to inform owners of their car's charging level. The tech will mean that the Volt 'knows' when it is parked at home, and can thus automatically optimize charging for off-peak times, and so on. Take a look at the teaser images at the top of the page, and then head below for Chevy's press release announcing the new features. Next-Gen Chevy Volt Offers More User-Friendly Charging 2014-11-20 GPS makes charging more convenient Portable charger is easier to access Intuitive visual cues show charge status DETROIT – If there's one thing Chevrolet Volt owners love about their cars, it's being able to recharge the battery easily. Evidence of that is a U.S. Department of Energy study that shows more than 80 percent of all trips by Volt owners did not use the range extender. Chevrolet has made the charging system in the next-generation Volt even easier for customers to recharge the battery – and to check the charge status. The next-generation Volt debuts in January at the North American International Auto Show. "Chevrolet used the real-world experiences of today's Volt owners to make the charging process simpler and more convenient in the next-generation Volt," said Andrew Farah, chief engineer for the Volt.
Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head
Mon, Dec 29 2014Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
