1989 Chevy K5 Blazer, 62,000 original miles. Documented service records from day 1. Owned and maintained by a Police Dog Trainer. Log Book shows oil changes every 2000 miles. I am the second owner. Blazer runs drive and shifts perfect. Ice cold AC. Top : texture was stripped painted same as body panels when purchased new. 4 new Goodyear Wrangler tires, Original spare new hit the pavement. All body panels are arrow straight and paint is very nice. There are a few small scratches. No accidents, clean carfax report ( see below) Blazer looks like new. Ziebart undercoated. . 31 gallon poly gas tank. included is a Western unimount plow that's looks new. Only used to plow the driveway that's it. Lights everywhere. front fog, spotlight, overhead lights and rear lights. Everything works as it should. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
Watch Evo pick its 2015 Car of the Year in this epic video
Mon, Dec 7 2015With just a few days left in 2015, it's the perfect time to check out Evo's annual Car of the Year test to determine the greatest performance vehicle of the last 12 months. The writers' picks for the 11 finalists spanned a breadth of engaging models and included: Peugeot 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Seat Leon Cupra Sub8, McLaren 675LT, Porsche 991 GT3 RS, Porsche Cayman GT4, Honda Civic Type R, Ferrari 488 GTB, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Lotus Evora 400, and Mercedes-AMG GT S. For the venue to test the mettle of these performance machines, Evo stuck close to home this year and visited the twisting roads at the beautiful north coast of Scotland. Racing brothers Marino and Dario Franchitti also came along for the ride to provide two more voices in the competitive challenge to determine a winner. Evo's video explains why each model deserves to be among such rarified company but doesn't gloss over their faults either. There can be only one winner, though. 2016 Chevy Volt to make auto show debut this season
Wed, Jul 30 2014Ever since we saw that spy shots of the 2016 Chevy Volt, we've been hungering for more information on the next-gen version of GM's green halo car. It appears we might not have long to wait, at least for an official tease. An inside source that wishes to remain anonymous told AutoblogGreen that GM will make two announcements regarding the second-gen Volt at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, MI next week. The first, and most intriguing, is that that we will get our first glimpse of the new Volt at some point during the upcoming auto show season. That means either Los Angeles later this year or else Detroit, Chicago or New York in early 2015. The second bit of news is that GM will be moving production of the electric motors from Mexico to Michigan. Details and official confirmation are, of course, missing and Chevrolet declined comment to AutoblogGreen. We should know more next week.
