1957 CHEVY BELAIR 2DR HARDTOP. This car is a show driver. Its a true original V8 car with power brakes and power steering.

350 4 bolt main with a mild cam.
 4 barrel Edelbrock 750cfm carb.
 Ceramic Headers
 2.5"duals with H pipe.
 Electronic ignition
Flowmasters with "one off" stainless steel Nascar style side pipes

TH350 with mild shift kit and hardened sprag. Bulletproof transmission.

12 bolt rear with 308 gears. great for the highway.

American Racing Torq Thrust II 17" wheels with new Kuhmo tires

Power disk brakes in front drum rear.

Heat, wipers, windows, lights, door flippers, and all gauges work.

Radio is a digital reproduction.

Interior has been redone in black.( vinyl and Ostrich) I still have the original bench seats.
Seats from a 2000 Mercedes c230 and they are power and they work.
Seat controls mounted in custom center console.

This is a great car that I've enjoyed for 10 years, but now its time for someone else to enjoy it. It was a frame off resto and the underside looks as good as the top. The paint is near perfect and the original color except the top was white from the factory.

Im glad to answer any questions over the phone or in person . Shoot me an email.
I also put more pics and there is a video of me running the car. sorry for it being sideways.

Use this PowerPoint when convincing your spouse to let you buy a Corvette

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

When you are not the one in charge of the purse strings, creativity is a must when trying to get the string-holder to bankroll that next shiny object you just can't live without.
When I was a kid, I decided that life wasn't worth living if it weren't in pursuit of owning a GMC Typhoon. My 12-year-old self crafted a fiscal strategy that, when combined with my offer of a 49-percent share of ownership in the car in return for my parents' contribution of 80-percent of the purchase price, would see me behind the wheel of a Typhoon by the time I hit college. They walked away from the negotiating table and, the economic climate of the 8th grade being what it was at the time, another partner wasn't found before the Typhoon was discontinued.
Roy El-Rayes, however, has succeeded where 12-year-old me failed, and he did it by using the sort of professionalism that only a PowerPoint presentation can provide, along with some humor and bold-faced flattery.

Question of the Day: What's the most irritating car name?

Wed, Mar 9 2016

You hear a lot about how the Chevrolet Nova was a sales flop in Mexico because "No va" means "it doesn't go" in Spanish; in fact, the Nova sold pretty well south of the border, and in any case most Spanish-speakers know that "Nova" means "new" in Latin and Portuguese. However, General Motors doesn't deserve to be let off the hook for bad car names, because the Oldsmobile Achieva— no doubt inspired by the excruciating "coffee achievers" ads of the 1980s— scrapes the biggest fingernails down the screechiest chalkboard in the US-market car-name world. That is, unless you think Daihatsu's incomprehensible choice of Charade was worse. Meanwhile, Japanese car buyers could get machines with cool names like Mazda Bongo Friendee or Honda Life Dunk. It's just not fair! So, what car name drives you the craziest? Related Video: Auto News Design/Style Chevrolet Honda Mazda Daihatsu Automotive History questions car names
