1957 Chevrolet Handyman Utility 2door Station Wagon Driving Patina Rare 1 Videos on 2040-cars
Fort Worth, Texas, United States
We are offering this rare 1957 Chevrolet Handyman Utility 2 Door wagon in virtually unmodified, untouched condition! The car starts right up, idles quietly and runs and drives as it should. It has the patina look, and the interior is OEM! Look it over!
This car has been stored and off the road for many years..........Here's a list of what we've installed and done to bring it back!
This wagon has really good glass for it's age......all of the rear glass is in great shape. Windshield has some cloudiness toward bottom edge and driver door glass is cracked. Looks like someone started repairing the floors..All it needs are three basic pans and some flat metal work on edge of seat riser. Seat riser, body mounts floor braces, door bottoms, inner rockers, lift gate and tailgate are all solid! we have repair panels for fenders that will go with car. And we'll throw in some extra headlight doors. Actually the car looks great as is,,,,lots of character.. a few oil can dents, worn paint but nothing distracting. Hard to find a two door with natural patina! Interior still has the oem seats and covers! ratty but intact. Cargo floor is solid, some rust in spare tire well but no big holes. No headliner but bows are in their place. has a cool aftermarket Sears (allstate) radio in the dash. Car is a natural crowd pleaser, runs and drives great and of course has a clear Texas title. 8888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 please enjoy the video presentations 88888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888 *********NO TRADES PLEASE********** Please look over all provided info ,pictures and videos and ask all questions regarding this vehicle PRIOR to making an offer. New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
2014 Corvette Stingray meets Tesla Model S in drag strip showdown
Wed, Jan 29 2014They come from two different worlds and have little in common. The Tesla Model S P85 is the sportiest version of this paradigm-punching sedan from California, while the 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 is a performance-enhanced version of Michigan's recently-updated sports car stalwart. The West Coast car seats five adults and eats electrons like Popeye eats spinach, the Easterner has two passenger places and, surprisingly, sips gasoline like one might bourbon. An attribute they do happen to share is extreme quickness. This similarity is all the excuse Drag Times needed to set the vehicles beside each other at the Palm Beach International Raceway for a bit of mano-a-mano quarter-mile combat. Fortunately enough, cameras were rolling for each of two bouts down the blacktop and the results recorded for our edification and enlightenment. The winner? We won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it's really, really close. How close? Scroll below and watch the video for yourself. Just be warned, the results may surprise you.
