This 1957 Chevy 210 Post 2 Door 327 V8 Auto with Bel Air Trim, clear title,is a great car that attracts tons of attention and is really fun to take out cruising at an affordable price. You will definitely have people giving you the thumbs up and telling you what a beautiful car it is.I purchased the car seven years ago and have really enjoyed owning a 57.The car shows beautifully with the red exterior and red and white interior. It has a good running motor and automatic transmission with converted on the column shifting. It has rear drum brakes and has been converted to disc in the front and a new battery. When I purchased this car, I was looking for a good looking car that I could drive often without worrying that someone would scratch a big money paint job. This car is just that, it's not perfect by any means or implied to be, so if your looking for perfection, it's not the car for you unless you want to spend the money to improve upon it yourself. The paint seems to be really good quality and shines up nicely. There are areas that have some rust including on the lower part of the doors and above the doors on the rain rails, please see the pictures. This never bothered me, because again,I wasn't looking for a perfect car. There are some minor dings and scratches, but the body of the car is very straight. The chrome shows well, but could use some polishing or re-chroming if you want it perfect. The speedometer reads 34849.9,but I have no idea how many miles are really on this car, after all, it's a 1957.The brakes are a little spongy, but they stop well after the pedal is pumped a bit before driving. The gas gauge stopped working and the speedo needs a new cable.I bought the car in Las Vegas, Nevada. The car was restored before I bought it, and doesn't appear to be an off the frame restoration, but there are no major problems that I'm aware of. Good thing is, there are so many new and used parts available for these incredible classics. Anyone would be proud to own this car! There's a CD player under the seat that works well and decent speakers for listening to the king of rock and roll.Have fun at the Drive-In! Buyer responsible for shipping costs or vehicle pick-up. Car sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Seller retains the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
BMW, Hyundai score big in JD Power's first Tech Experience Index
Mon, Oct 10 2016While automakers are quick to brag about winning a JD Power Initial Quality Study award, the reality, as we've pointed out before, is that these ratings are somewhat misleading, since IQS doesn't necessarily distinguish genuine quality issues. JD Power's new Tech Experience Index aims to solve that problem. The new metric takes the same 90-day approach as IQS but focuses exclusively on technology – collision protection, comfort and convenience, driving assistance, entertainment and connectivity, navigation, and smartphone mirroring. It splits the industry up into just seven segments, based loosely on size, which is why the Chevrolet Camaro is in the same division (mid-size) as Kia Sorento and the Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class is in the same segment as the Hyundai Genesis (mid-size premium). It makes for some screwy bedfellows, to be sure. Still, splitting tech experience away from initial quality should allow customers to make more informed and intelligent decisions when buying new vehicles. In the inaugural study, respondents listed BMW and Hyundai as the big winners, with two segment awards – the 2 Series for small premium and the 4 Series for compact premium, and the Genesis for mid-size premium and Tucson for small segment. The Chevrolet Camaro (midsize), Kia Forte (compact), and Nissan Maxima (large) scored individual wins. Ford also had a surprising hit with the Lincoln MKC, which ranked third in the compact premium segment behind the 4 Series and Lexus IS. This is a coup for the Blue Oval, whose woeful MyFord Touch systems made the brand a victim of the IQS' flaws in the early 2010s. But Ford and other automakers might not want to celebrate just yet. According to JD Power, there's still a lot of room for improvement – navigation systems were the lowest-rated piece of tech in the study. Instead, customers repeatedly saluted collision-avoidance and safety systems, giving the category the best marks of the study and listing blind-spot monitoring and backup cameras as two must-have features – 96 percent of respondents said they wanted those two systems in their next vehicle. But this isn't really a surprise. Implementation of safety systems from brand to brand is similar, and they don't require any input from users, unlike navigation and infotainment systems which are frustratingly deep.
2018 Ford Expedition vs other big SUVs: How it compares on paper
Fri, Nov 10 2017With our Alex Kierstein rightly impressed in his first-drive review of the new 2018 Ford Expedition, we decided to dig a little deeper into the numbers, and we came up with the spreadsheet below to highlight how the new 2018 Expedition compares on paper to its main full-size SUV competitors: the 2018 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban (and therefore the 2018 GMC Yukon), 2018 Toyota Sequoia and 2018 Nissan Armada. We also threw in the new, even bigger 2018 Chevrolet Traverse since, as you'll see, its massive dimensions should put it on the radar for anyone who needs loads of passenger and cargo space but doesn't care as much about towing. A few notes about the chart above. First, the 6.2-liter V8 that's included with the new-for-2018 Tahoe RST trim level is the standard engine on the GMC Yukon Denali. You can apply most of the Tahoe's numbers to the entire Yukon and Yukon XL lineup. Second, though we highlighted categories where the Traverse led, we also highlighted the runner-up full-size SUV, since this was ultimately about that segment. Traverse numbers are broadly applicable to the new Buick Enclave.
