READ IN FULL. This vehicle was previously listed and pulled off by the "E BAY POLICE" They ruined my sale because I had my phone number in the listing!! So now it's against the rules to put phone numbers because E-bay gets jealous they may lose two cents for it being sold outside of their service. So with that being said, here we go.....
The car is being listed to SELL IT. I am bailing out and NOWHERE on this system or anywhere are you getting a 56 Chevy this workable for the money, NOWHERE! This car isn't junk. It was a running driving unit till a month ago. I sold the engine and trans because had plans of going v-8 automatic. The car is being sold as a ROLLER. The front clip is now off the car. It will be bolted on good enough for transport (I am not putting every bolt back in, clip was removed to start restoration and would have to be taken off anyway).
THIS IS A PROJECT CAR WITH A CLEAN NJ TITTLE in my name. A ton of heavy grunt work was done to this car. IT has a BRAND NEW FLOOR in it with just about every floor brace replaced. Not a "SLOP JOB" Welded and seam sealed. Try and see what that would cost in labor and materials to do it! Easy $4000 if not better.
The car also had new steel brake lines ran and does have a brake. IT was an original 6 cylinder stick. Car being sold with no engine. Body was taken to bare metal and rot was cut out and metal all welded where was rotted.
Needs obviously body work and paint. Dash is original and never hacked. THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT if you don't have the money or talent to handle it, it's not for you. It's being offered local so in event you are hot and ready there is a buy it now.
THE BUY IT NOW INCLUDES redone correct front seat (in event buy it now is not hit I keep redone seat and I have another original seat that gets tossed in that needs to be redone)
BUY IT NOW also includes show quality front bumper and rechromed rear center bumper section.
I clearly stated that BUY IT NOW is $2950 and includes redone seat and bumpers. AT reserve you ARE NOT getting bumpers and not getting finished seat. You are getting another seat as core to redo. I also have the following I can offer at buy it now prices. Just mail me and I will make "BUY IT NOW" option for the following.
1) 1989 Chevy 350 4 bolt main engine with rebuilt throttle body, wire harness, computer $1000
2) 1986 Th200R4 overdrive trans from Cutlass 442 $500
3) mint pair of 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo bucket seats $350
ALL SALES FINAL. Buyer to send funds in form of bank check (not personal check) within 7 days of auctions end. Buyer to have vehicle off property within 30 days. After that storage fee will be charged. Bid is contract, do not bid unless you have funds to back it. Bogus and ZERO feedback not tolerated and will be deleted and reported.
Yes and before I forget, the million dollar question "HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO TRANSPORT" The answer to that question is easy $1000 coast to coast and maybe less in the middle. That is the responsibility of the buyer and not me. If you are within 400 miles I have a local guy that can get it to you for ADDITIONAL cost. HE won't however drive coast to coast.
THIS IS A STEAL.... don't HESITATE HIT THE BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO PAY PAL ACCEPTED HERE.

Best car infotainment systems: From UConnect to MBUX, these are our favorites
Sun, Jan 7 2024Declaring one infotainment system the best over any other is an inherently subjective matter. You can look at quantitative testing for things like input response time and various screen load times, but ask a room full of people that have tried all car infotainment systems what their favorite is, and you’re likely to get a lot of different responses. For the most part, the various infotainment systems available all share a similar purpose. They aim to help the driver get where they're going with navigation, play their favorite tunes via all sorts of media playback options and allow folks to stay connected with others via phone connectivity. Of course, most go way beyond the basics these days and offer features like streaming services, in-car performance data and much more. Unique features are aplenty when you start diving through menus, but how they go about their most important tasks vary widely. Some of our editors prefer systems that are exclusively touch-based and chock full of boundary-pushing features. Others may prefer a back-to-basics non-touch system that is navigable via a scroll wheel. You can compare it to the phone operating system wars. Just like some prefer Android phones over iPhones, we all have our own opinions for what makes up the best infotainment interface. All that said, our combined experience tells us that a number of infotainment systems are at least better than the rest. WeÂ’ve narrowed it down to five total systems in their own subcategories that stand out to us. Read on below to see our picks, and feel free to make your own arguments in the comments. Best infotainment overall: UConnect 5, various Stellantis products Ram 1500 Uconnect Infotainment System Review If thereÂ’s one infotainment system that all of us agree is excellent, itÂ’s UConnect. It has numerous qualities that make it great, but above all else, UConnect is simple and straightforward to use. Ease of operation is one of the most (if not the single most) vital parts of any infotainment system interface. If youÂ’re expected to be able to tap away on a touchscreen while driving and still pay attention to the road, a complex infotainment system is going to remove your attention from the number one task at hand: driving. UConnect uses a simple interface that puts all of your key functions in a clearly-represented row on the bottom of the screen. Tap any of them, and it instantly pulls up that menu.
2015 Chevrolet Trax
Thu, Dec 4 2014After the obligatory product presentation for the 2015 Trax, I caught up with Steve Majoros, Chevrolet's director of marketing for crossovers and cars, and asked him to elaborate on which markets his planners believe will be the hot starters for this tiny CUV. Without much hesitation, Majoros began to click off traditional sales havens for Subaru, namely, New England and the snowy bits of the East Coast, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. That news might not surprise you, but it did me. Perhaps it's something as basic as the Trax's tall-hatchback looks, or the emphasis Chevrolet put on the urban driving cycle during my test in San Diego. But before my chat with Majoros, I'd considered this a crossover pointed at the Millennial city mouse more than his bumpkin cousin. But a closer look had me re-examining the granola cred of Chevy's smallest crossover. Having spent my fair share of time in New England and around New Englanders, I started by mentally listing the Trax's Subaru-like traits: practicality, thrift, all-weather ability and, well, just a dash of ugliness. (I suppose a hatchback needn't always be ugly to sell in Maine, or Boulder or Portland... but a 'distinctive' face doesn't seem to hurt.) After a day of driving through sunny San Diego and its surroundings, I can say that Trax makes an interesting case for itself against the standard bearers of the L.L. Bean set, but I'm less sure of its argument for young urbanites. The Trax looks a lot like an Equinox whose suit shrunk in the wash. Chevy's has downsized its own, rather conservative crossover styling to fit the proportions of the subcompact Trax; to my eyes, it looks a lot like an Equinox whose suit shrunk in the wash. That's fine for offering a cohesive look for the Chevy family of crossovers, but it seems out of step with the rest of the segment. If the Trax's current competitive set were the cast of a high school-based TV show, the Kia Soul would play the lovable nerd, the Nissan Juke perhaps the outsider musician and the Subaru XV Crosstrek the athletic outdoorsy kid. Chevy may see the Trax as the hipster chick wearing intentionally ironic mom jeans, but to me the styling is a little too on the nose; more like an actual grownup trying to hang with the kids. These mom jeans are genuine. Per my earlier point, that quasi-conservative look may be just fast enough for staid New Englanders, but I have a hard time seeing the bluff, big-Bowtied front end playing in Bushwick or Wicker Park.
2016 Chevrolet Equinox gets styling tweaks, not much else
Thu, Feb 12 2015The current Chevy Equinox debuted over five years ago, in late 2009. Since then, the midsize crossover segment has become increasingly important, with brand-new entries meeting substantially overhauled versions of existing nameplates. But the Equinox carried on, largely unchanged. And while Chevy is using its Chicago Auto Show stage to debut the freshened, 2016 Equinox, it appears there isn't a whole lot to talk about. Take a look at the updated Equinox's exterior and you're pretty much going to see all that's new for 2016. Sure, the Chevy still boasts a handsome, inoffensive design, and it's now upgraded with things like LED running lamps on top-level trims, as well as new 17- and 18-inch wheel designs, projector beam headlamps, and revised taillamp styling. Moving inside, Chevy has added a standard seven-inch color touchscreen to all models, which includes a backup camera. New-to-Equinox safety features like side cross traffic alert and side blind zone alert are also available for 2016. And really, that's about it. Powertrain options carry over from last year. On the base end, there's a 2.4-liter inline-four that's good for up to 32 miles per gallon on the highway (with front-wheel drive). Buyers can also opt for a 301-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6 that allows the Equinox to tow up to 3,500 pounds. Will this be enough to keep the Equinox fresh in its highly competitive class? In 2014, the Equinox did outsell lower-volume competitors like the Mazda CX-5 and Subaru Forester, but was bested by fresher offerings like the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4. Have a look at all there is to know about the 2016 Equinox in the press blast below. We'll have live images and more impressions direct from the Chicago show floor, soon.
