This is a perfect candidate for a gasser or hot rod, but is an original Bel Air V8 car so you decide what to do with it. Vehicle comes with a brand new windshield & seal, good back glass, VERY GOOD stainless trim around all the glass on the car, side body stainless is also pretty good but missing the horizontal pieces on the right rear quarter panel. Front fenders are solid, hood has been repaired and needs some finishing work (comes with extra teardrop hood that needs a lot of work), right door is solid, left door has rust through at the bottom rear corner (easily repaired) otherwise solid, deck lid is solid, quarter panels have been patch repaired a long time ago and need work, inner/outer wheel house work is needed. Needs floor pan work & floor pan bracing work along with trunk pan & bracing work, but comes with some floor pan repair panels, braces and inner rockers (see pictures). The frame is very solid but one area that can be seen in the picture of the right inner wheel house should be repaired (that area is solid and easily repaired, NOT SOFT). Front and rear bumpers are pretty good shape (also comes with fiberglass front bumper). Has a 454 .030 over professionally built 5 years ago (don't have the specs on the rebuild) but it does start & sounds real good, saginaw 4 speed (clutch linkage is not hooked up). Wheels appear to be old school cragers will clean up good. This is a project and not drivable right now but the engine and trans are bolted in, no radiator. Has drum brakes all the way around and will need work. There is a picture of some interior and misc. parts that come with it like dash trim, steering column, door handles, window cranks, door latches/catches, window regulators, wiper motor, ash tray, glove box door. Clean title.

2016 Chevy Volt to make auto show debut this season
Wed, Jul 30 2014Ever since we saw that spy shots of the 2016 Chevy Volt, we've been hungering for more information on the next-gen version of GM's green halo car. It appears we might not have long to wait, at least for an official tease. An inside source that wishes to remain anonymous told AutoblogGreen that GM will make two announcements regarding the second-gen Volt at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, MI next week. The first, and most intriguing, is that that we will get our first glimpse of the new Volt at some point during the upcoming auto show season. That means either Los Angeles later this year or else Detroit, Chicago or New York in early 2015. The second bit of news is that GM will be moving production of the electric motors from Mexico to Michigan. Details and official confirmation are, of course, missing and Chevrolet declined comment to AutoblogGreen. We should know more next week.
Hot air balloons caught in high winds drag fullsize SUV
Mon, Jul 20 2015A sudden storm front whipped up enough wind to send some hot air balloons flying into the air in Wisconsin over the weekend. One ballon proved so energetic that it was able to drag a fullsize SUV across a field and into a stand of tents. The freak accident occurred at Balloonfest in Waterford, Wisconsin. Spectators were horrified as balloons dragged handlers to the ground and launched with terrified pilots clinging to their baskets. Organizers had started packing up the colorful balloons due to ominous storm clouds when the wind kicked up. "Happened just like that; it was crazy," Nathan Fricke, crew member, told Fox 6. Winds were clocked at 40 to 50 miles per hour. A balloon caught in the wind dragged a large SUV (we think a Suburban or Yukon XL) hundreds of feet and into a cluster of tents on the edge of the staging area where balloons were on display for festival goers. Considering that the SUV surely weighs well over 5,000 pounds, it's lucky that no one was injured in the incident. News Source: Fox6Now Weird Car News Chevrolet GM GMC SUV
