1953 Chevrolet Bel Air This car is in great shape. It has never been restored. It was a Barn find in South Dakota. The original owner traded in a 1951 Kaiser for this 1953 Chevy. It has only had 3 owners. I have all the original paper work from the original owner, with a description of extra add on features. The interior has to be seen to fully appreciate it . It is a brown/beige color. The interior is in fantastic to good shape (a few flaws around the door trim). No animal, sun, or smoking problems. Head liner is in fantastic shape. Radio is working fantastic. The wind up clock, winds and keeps perfect time. The body and frame are factory straight. Doors close solid and tight. Little rust if any on the body. Some surface rust on the under carriage, but structurally sound. There are no major dents or damage to this car. The car has some minor scratches and minor speckled weathering from living in an area that had dirt roads. There has been some very minor touch up around the wheel wells by the original owner, it looks like to protect the metal from rusting. One or two spots on the chrome were over polished. This car is a classic factory original, it has NOT been restored. It is two-tone (color 515) Sahara Beige and Saddle Brown. It has 53,119 original miles on it. It has a 235, inline 6 engine, automatic with Powerglide, that purrs like you won't believe. It is a 6 volt system. Lights, gages, and switches work. It is 4 door, and a fantastic every day driver.

Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R named Road & Track Performance Car of the Year
Mon, Nov 9 2015With a 526-horsepower, 5.2-liter V8 that roars to 8,250 rpm, it's really hard to consider the 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R an underdog in any fight. However, the Shelby held the lowest as-tested price and was only middle of the pack in terms of power in Road & Track's 2016 Performance Car of the Year challenge. The 'Stang's numbers clearly didn't tell the whole story about the potent coupe because Ford's muscle car grabbed the title in this year's test. A model needs to be new or significantly updated to be eligible for the honor, and R&T found an impressive slate of eight candidates this year. The challengers included the Bentley Continental GT3-R, Cadillac ATS-V Coupe, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Dodge Viper ACR, Mercedes-AMG GT S, and Porsche Cayman GT4. The Ferrari 488 GTB was the most expensive of the bunch with an as-tested price of $347,942, which is five times more than the Shelby. Once the group was together, R&T hustled them over curving roads and on the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park. There was a lot to love about the Shelby, even in this impressive crew. "With a flat-plane crank and Sport Cup 2 tires, the GT350R is a Mustang turned up to 11," editor-in-chief Larry Webster said in the announcement of the results. The GT350R joins some great company. Past winners include the Porsche 911 GT3 last year and the Corvette in 2013. Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
