I have had this car for ten years and its just as nice as when I bought it. Its fun to drive and is right out of the 50,s. If your an old school car guy this is worth a look.
I think the doors and roof are the only part of the car that is stock, here are some of its features; As you can see the car has had numerous modifications including frenched headlights, nosed, custom marker lights, custom grille, an opened front pan that has been rolled creating a one piece nose as well as a one piece hood. Two inch droped springs in the front and adjustable air ride in the back. Rear pan has also been rolled and Lincoln tail lights installed. A flush mounted eletric antenna is mounted on the passenger side of the rear fender to go along with the Kenwood cassette and AM/FM radio. The car was painted 2000 Corvette dark blue with flames, base coat clear coat. The interior is like sitting on your living room couch, rolled and tucked two tone tan interior with dark blue carpet. The dash is painted two tone tan and white with updated gauges and tach.
This bad boy is powered by a 350 small block with 10.5:1 pistons, Isky Cam and Lifters,194 Heads, Edlebrock Aluminum Airgap Intake, Griffin Alumimum Rad. with Eletric Fan, 4 Speed Floor Shifter, a narrowed 10 bolt rear end with a Strange Pos Unit spinning 3:73 gears, Strange Axles and slapper bar

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee teases return with a Countach
Fri, May 29 2015Unless you have an intense aversion to Jerry Seinfeld, it's hard not to find something to like about his show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. After all, the series combines funny people telling often hilarious stories while riding in ridiculously cool vehicles. The trailer for the sixth season is now online, and based on this tease, this definitely looks worth watching no matter what part of the videos interest you. Of course, it's the automotive portion that really grabs us, and Seinfeld has quite a fleet to showcase for season six. The trailer shows off a Lamborghini Countach, a '57 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible, a classic Volkswagen Beetle in the green and white German Polizei livery, a Morgan, an Aston Martin DB5, and a Ferrari 308. On the more humorous side of things, the guest list at least includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and upcoming host of The Daily Show Trevor Noah. Season six of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee premieres on Crackle on Wednesday, June 3, at 11:30 PM ET.
GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
