2004 Chevy Astro AWD cargo van with 154,504 miles. It has A/C, power windows and door locks, keyless entry, cruise, am/fm factory radio, cloth seats, tinted rear cargo glass, V6 4.3 motor and AWD.
I bought the van in July 09' and it had 90,900 miles on it. I am in construction and used it for the many tools I needed to have for day to day use. The only reason I am selling it is because I needed a large van for the amount of tools I now carry. This AWD is a "BEAST" in the snow, it is almost unstoppable!! I was so impressed with the AWD that I sought after and got a Chevy Express 1500 AWD!I have changed the oil every 3-4,000 miles(see pic of record book). The pic shows all the maintenance that I have done since I acquired it. Interior: The interior is in good shape. No rips in seats, no cracks in dash, all power options work. I installed a new "Bedrug Vantred" cargo mat and custom wood shelving when I got it. I can remove the shelving if not needed. Exterior: The exterior has some minor dings in sheet metal. The passenger side front fender is damaged (see pic). The fender was in this condition when I purchased it and hasnt changed (rust) in the four years that I have owned it. The front bumper has a crease in it that was also there when I purchased it. Issues: Windshield is cracked and needs replaced (Safelite $325.00) Check engine light stays on more than off, mechanic says its due to 02 sensor ($70.00). ABS light comes on intermittently. It will pass MD inspection with ABS light on. Its just when lit the ABS doesn't work, but the brakes work fine. It will need new tires soon, I have two extra that will come with the van. A/C needs charged. Worked the first summer and I haven't used it since. I would prefer local pickup. If it needs to be shipped it is up to buyer to pay for shipping expenses. I also have it for sale locally and reserve the right to stop auction at any time. I will accept PayPal, cashiers check or cash. A deposit of $500.00 needed to be payed within 48 hrs of sale and the balance within 7 days of the deposit. If you want to come and take a look at it, I'm available in the evenings and most weekends. You can email me through ebay for my cell number. |

Weekly Recap: Autonomous driving goes commercial in Nevada
Sat, May 9 2015Nevada granted Daimler Trucks North America the first license to run an autonomous commercial vehicle on public roads in the United States Tuesday, marking another milestone in the technology's rapid advancement. Gov. Brian Sandoval and Daimler truck chief Wolfgang Bernhard promptly used the license to lap Highway 15 near Las Vegas in a newly revealed Freightliner Inspiration Truck. It was a clear signal that autonomous driving is big-rig reality, though it's still a long way from widespread use. Nevada certified two of Daimler's Freightliner Inspiration Trucks, which use the company's Highway Pilot system with a stereo camera, radar, and lane-keeping collision-prevention features to regulate the brakes and steering. The radar component has a long-range sensor that can cover 820 feet at an 18-degree angle and a shorter-range unit that stretches 230 feet at a 130-degree angle. The Inspiration trucks are based on the existing Freightliner Cascadia Evolution model used on US roads. In addition to the autonomous technologies, it also has futuristic design cues, including blue lighting in the front and a new hood and grille. While there are only two Freightliner Inspiration trucks in existence, Daimler expects to bring the Highway Pilot system into mass-produced big rigs by 2025, in time to capitalize on the market's predicted growth. The German truckmaker predicts the global hauling market will triple by 2050, and the United States will be a key part of that growth. Trucks carry 69.1 percent the nation's domestic freight tonnage and hauled 9.7 billion tons of freight in 2013, according to the American Trucking Association. Daimler expects autonomous driving to augment this growth, and perhaps evolve the role of the truck driver. Still, the company points out autonomous tech is not meant to replace drivers, but to assist them and relieve fatigue and monotony on long hauls. The driver has to stay in control for passing, in city traffic, and when hooking up the trailer. The company said autonomous driving also offers the potential for improved fuel economy – tests showed a five-percent gain – and lower maintenance costs. Daimler also said the technology could reduce congestion on the road. Much of this is attributable to the constant flow of traffic, which is aided by autonomous driving. While the benefits are becoming increasingly apparent, autonomous technology is still met with skepticism.
2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon all spied with production lights
Fri, Mar 22 2019One of our spy photographers just caught a smattering of full-size GM SUVs out testing, including the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon. Previous spy photos of the next-generation of these big GM SUVs have revealed that GM is going with an independent rear suspension design, and these shots confirm the news once again with our best look at the hardware yet. Check them out from the rear, lined up like ducks in a row to see the beefy control arms down there. This will undoubtedly give the big SUVs a more compliant ride, and should bring it back into touch with the refinement from the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. The new bits we get to see with these shots are production headlights and taillights that are shaping up to look pretty neat. Most distinguishable are the GMC Yukon's LED DRLs. These look a lot like the C-shaped LEDs outlining the headlights on the Sierra, but they have an extra LED strip on top of the C. The parts of the taillights that we can see look significantly different than that found on the Sierra, showing GM is planning on having a great deal of differentiation there. We can sort of see through the mesh covering the grille to what appears to be a classic horizontal bar style front opening. Chevy is predictably dialing the crazy LED strip design back for the Tahoe and Suburban. The parts that are lit up look a whole lot like the headlight fixtures on the 2019 Silverado. That truck uses a stack of lights with the actual headlights separated from the DRLs. We can see the same thing going on here, with the headlight up top and curved LED DRL strip sitting below. It's tough to say if the designs are exactly alike, but we expect to see an extremely Silverado-esque look once all the camouflage comes off. Chevrolet's taillight design differs from its donor truck like the GMC, showing off a curved, vertical series of LEDs out back. Once production lights start popping up like this, we know the vehicle is moving closer to its end game. A reveal sometime later this year could be in the cards for GM's next batch of full-size SUVs. It certainly needs them quick, as Ford rockets ahead with increased Expedition production announced earlier this week.
Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
